L'osteria — Restaurant in Nuremberg

I always had a positive impression of L'Osteria Resturants wherever I went. But when it came to this specific restaurant, I was completely surprised to read such negative reviews here, stating that the staff is unfriendly, uncaring, and that almost everyone has to wait for an hour or more for such a pizza or pasta.

Unbleavaible. We agreed to go to the restaurant for dinner last Thursday at 18.30. When we arrived, more than 80% of the tables outside were empty, and unless there were two waiters nearby (a female and a guy), none of them seemed interested in coming and seating us. Then we chose a table on our own, had to wait for approximately 10-15 minutes, and no one came to greet us or bring us the menu.

As a matter of fact, we had to get up and walk to another table to get the menu. After another 10 minutes or so, no one has bothered to check on us. Then there was a waitress serving the next table, so I called him and asked him to take our order, which was two drinks and two pizzas. Another 10 minutes and we finally got our first drinks, and here we are, 45-50 minutes later, and our pizzas are still not here. When we asked again, he stated the kitchen had approximately 30 orders, so you'd have to wait, nothing we could do for you, and he didn't bother to apologize.

What a fantastic service!!!! Finally, we decided to go. We didn't finish our drink, we didn't ask for a check, we just left some cash on the table and walked away.

VERY DISAPPOINTED EXPERIENCE, ZERO...

My family and I came to your resturant for father’s day june 20,2021. I was then met by Mr. Pliffer, I order for my family by the bar and there was a younger guy sitting next to the bar that Mr. Pliffer motion to. I didnot take it for nothing since he was there drinking a beer by himself.I taught is was a worker on break.After ordering, I ask if we can sit outside and wait;seeing that the resturant was full inside and due to COVID-19 I felt like it was best for my family and I. I even ask Mr. pliffer if it was ok and he said yes!!. Upon getting our food the bread was missing I’d aready paid 10 euro’s for it (notfree) I ask fir my bread. Upon coming back, the lady( she never told us her name) with 5 pieces of small roll and stated she was out off bread. She then said to me we can eat there (outside)without explaining. So we got up and left. After I came home I check my email to find someone had tried to log to my paypal account from a desktop computer round -about the same time we left your resturant. Why are their internet theives working and hanging out at your resturant.( I only used my card there) I might be an American by im also Jamican.I know all the scams... ps I will be informing the army to not have the soilders eat at your resturants since your bartner is working with his friend to take people hard working money via credit scam. And to think I gave Mr. Pliffer a tip.....(the one star because the food...

Im so disappointed! I made reservation online 2 weeks ago,I specifically wrote that I will need a high chair and that we are celebrating my childs 2nd Birthday. When we entered, The host asked us how many people are we ,he didnt even ask about my reservation,even though I tried to tell him but he didnt pay attention to me. The table was dirty,there were crumbs everywhere. We set with my husband and my child,I ordered a pizza for her and after 30min,while feeding my kid on my legs I decided to ask for a high.chair and the waitress said that they do have one..You have a chair and you dont offer one,why??? And why was there no high chair when i asked about it in the reservation?! After we ate all the empty plates were infront of us,we tried to grab out waitress attention, but she was way to busy with the table near us (where everyone spoke german,not english like us..) She was serving and picking up their things ,but did even look at us,not even when we were trying calling her to order additional stuff.. so after waiting for more than 30 minutes i took all of our guests plates and took it to the bar ,which is unacceptable.. Im so sorry that i picked up this restaurant, ruined our special day. If you cant handle what was noted in the reservation, better...
