Lu-Bu Asian Fusion Kitchen — Restaurant in Nuremberg

I would say the decorations were nice, but it was too crowded and way too loud. There were too many tables packed too closely together — more like a fast food restaurant, trying to fit as many tables as possible.

We had made a reservation, and when we arrived, there were still about 7 tables available. Out of those, at least 3 were two-person tables. But they gave us the table right next to the bartender’s station — where staff constantly came to place orders, pick up food and drinks, and walk back and forth right behind us. That’s always the least desirable table — definitely a last option for me.

It was my birthday, and we just wanted a normal seat — not the worst one in the house. It really ruined the mood for me.

We eventually asked to move to another table, but that one was only about 10 cm away from the couple next to us. It felt more like a double date.

It also took a long time for our food to arrive — over 30 minutes. We finished our drinks and were just about to order a second round by the time the food came.

The drinks were nice, but the food… the salmon had a very strong smell. A sushi dish should not smell that fishy.

Price-wise, it was reasonable. But I don’t think I’ll come back. The biggest disappointment was the table we were given at the beginning — it felt careless, especially on a special day.

The restaurant was also extremely cold, despite being full and having people queuing at the entrance. One guy even had to wear his jacket while eating — it honestly felt like we were dining outdoors.

And the toilet? A complete mess. The floor was wet, water all over the counter, the trash bin was overflowing, and toilet paper was scattered on the sink, the floor, around the bin, and even under the...

General: We visited this place in 03/22 around 6pm. The amount of people were just right - not to many and definitely not empty.

Ambiente: The Ambiente is basic and and update would be necessary to call yourself Asian fusion kitchen. There are many comparable restaurants around the corner with a more refreshed design. So we recommend a makeover especially when it comes to details.

Food: The food was delicious - we had several dishes, starters and sushi. Everything was great and authentic. Especially the summer rolls were authentic and comparable to ones which you get in Vietnam. Only the sushi can be improved. The style was nice, but the rice a little bit to sour.

Price: Ok - not cheap but also not too expensive. I think the price is fair for the served dishes.

I order wine and a bowl of ramen noodle soup. I took no photos of the food. The noodle soup was very tasty. However I had a difficult time enjoying myself at this restaurant. The staff struggled with customer service. No-one seem to know how to handle incoming customers. There was a line to enter the restaurant. And although there were tables available, I still had to wait. It was very loud. And I have never eaten amongst a more annoying crowd of people. I can even recall flashing my middle finger to the tables to the left and to the right of me for being rude towards me with their body language and words. It was a hostile environment.
