Finally, I’m sharing my review of this place which became my favorite in Potsdam. I haven’t done it before because I couldn’t manage to remember to take photos before I eat everything up… Actually, it’s not very often that I come here, but when I do, it’s always a pleasant experience! As a vegan, I can only take a piece of an apricot pie here (and I do!) and a beverage (which are diverse and reasonably priced here). All I want to say is that the cake became one of my favorite desserts in Berlin/BB while being way cheaper than the others. They also have a variety of Italian food which is not vegan but (I bet) nice and authentic. The café itself is simple but spacious and cosy. The decor and style takes me a little back to the old days in Berlin before everything got gentrified; the laid back, friendly, polite people running the place make extremely good coffee (and I'm looking forward to tasting the pastries and sandwiches one day), there's free wifi and places to plugin everywhere. Read moreThis bar has very friendly staff and it's always a good place to meet students if you're a student yourself. It offers outside seating and inside it has a generally cozy ambiance in which you can just relax with some friends. My only critiques would be that the toilet is hard to reach even for the most sporty people (and if you've had a few drinks it doesn't get any easier) and that the vintage ambiance goes into the run-down in places.
