If you’re around the Regensburg area and looking for a truly exceptional Asian fusion dining experience, Ha Tien is a must-visit! My family and I dined here recently, and every dish we tried left us more than satisfied. The ambiance is low-key, which makes it perfect for a cozy meal.
We ordered the Laksa Pho, duck with peanut sauce, and fried noodles with chicken for our daughter. Each dish was crafted to perfection. The Laksa Pho had an incredible blend of flavors—sweet, sour, with a delightful hint of onion—that paired beautifully with the shrimp, tofu, and chicken. The duck was superb as well, with a tender texture and no overwhelming aftertaste, which really set it apart from other Asian restaurants I’ve tried. Our daughter loved her fried noodles; they were cooked just right, neither dry nor chewy.
The only downside? The space is quite limited. It’s such a popular spot that a larger space would certainly help accommodate all eager diners. Despite this, Ha Tien is a fantastic dining experience that I...
Read moreI keep on hoping this place will not disappoint but it does, every single time. I'm living in Regensburg for a bit and find my self in desperate need of some Asian to break the Bavarian heaviness. The plates sure look pretty but they are so so so heavily seasoned. The fried rice has so much soy sauce you can't really taste anything else... The curries are the same but with curry sauce, and everything else as well, even the so called salad plates (salad literarily floating in sauce). I tried again tonight, asking in many a polite words for almost no sauce on anything yet still they over did every single dish we ordered. We did not finish anything and feel so terrible after eating it. So, I finally give up. It may work for a provincial context but it's just not what it...
Read moreOnce an amazing restaurant, which I visited very frequently with a friend of mine, is now a quite shallow location. By that I mean they enchanced the looks to a point where it's barely recognizable anymore. It looks beautiful now, but it's not that comfortable little asian place that you once loved. Along with the recent upgrade came an - in my opinion - unneccessary rise in the prices, which would be fine if the quality stayed the same too. Which it didn't at all. The food got greasy and bland. After spending many, many hundreds of Euros there me and my friend didn't eat there in...
