Very cosy place, makes you feel like you're somewhere in Rome in one of those lovely small alleys.

The prices appear fine, portions are definitely enough to fill you up. What I really liked was the fact that all the pasta is home-made.

One of the drinks we had ordered had fresh mint leafs in it. And along with it, some small bugs, probably coming from the mint. It's an indicator that the ingredients are very fresh, but nothing you want to find in your drink. The waitress picked it back up and brought us another drink, so no problem here at all. It just took a while because she was difficult to reach and passed us by a few times without noticing that we had concerns to share.

The food looked great! Unfortunately, it didn't taste like much. Of course you can add some more salt and pepper but that's barely enough to make up for missing spices. This was the case with both dishes we ordered.

To sum it up, great ambient! But the most important part about a restaurant is the food. So next time, we will try another Italian restaurant...

Ich bewerte grundsätzlich nichts schlecht.

Ich hatte die Pizza Bufalina und Pasta Carbonara gehabt.

Ich bin der Meinung, dass anhand der Carbonara die Qualität des Essens eines italienischen Restaurants gemessen werden kann. Zumindest ist es mein persönlicher Maßstab. Das bedeutet ich habe schon einige Pasta Carbonara gegessen.

Pasta Carbonara - 3/10 Geschmacklos, zu weiche Nudeln. Der verwendete Grana Padano hätte auch ein geschmackloser Butterkäse oder Mozzarella sein können. Weiß nicht, ob überhaupt Eigelb verwendet wurde, der Farbe nach wenig bis gar nicht. Enttäuschend sowas den Gästen als „echte“ Carbonara zu vermitteln. Trotzdem billig und Portion groß und wenigstens Eier nicht geronnen. Sofern sich an diesem Gericht nichts ändern sollte, rate ich von diesem Gericht ab.

Pizza Bufalina - 4/10 Pizzateig lecker, wenn Büffelmozzarella als Topping deklariert ist, könnte man meinen, dass die Büffelmozzarella nach dem Backen frisch drauf gelegt wird. Nein in diesem Fall dient sie nur als Käsebestandteil auf der Pizza. Hätte man sich das „Büffelmozzarella“ sparen können. Absolutes No-Go war, dass die Bresaola mitgebacken wurde. Schade um das gute Produkt. Radicchio-Schnipsel lieblos auf die Pizza geschmissen. Geschmacklich kaum wahrnehmbar. Verstehe das Konzept dieser Pizza nicht. Auch kann ich für dieses Gericht keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Die Pasta Vongole durfte ich von meinem Tischnachbarn probieren. Einer meiner Lieblingspastagerichte. Das Produkt ist gut, allerdings mangelte es an der Umsetzung. Auch hier wurde ich enttäuscht.

Wenn der Essenssaal voll ist, ist es sehr laut. Das liegt daran, weil der Raum sehr groß ist und keine Geräuschdämpfung vorhanden ist. Kann unangenehm sein. Ambiente innen nicht gemütlich. Biergarten schön und Weine sehr gut. Service war exzellent und sehr freundlich. Essen kam schnell an.

For having heard so overwhelmingly positive feedback about this restaurant I was relatively disappointed. I’ve been here three times now, had the Pappardelle Cinghiale, the Tagliolini with Scampi and the Tagliolini with black truffles. The pasta quality was overall rather poor for a restaurant of this type. The Pappardelle especially were very heavy and not rolled thin enough. I was expecting more. They have a beautiful inner courtyard which is a lovely location for a summer evening, the interior is kept modernish and clean instead, and has a lot of personality. I would not give this place...
