Zara Grill — Restaurant in Regensburg

I am giving 2 starts, 1 star for the food. I ordered a dürüm kebab, and the meat was really blend and felt really old and greasy. The tortilla was soaked with oil from the meat and it was all over my clothes. Spicy sauce wasn't bad, but it wasn't good at all. The place is closing at 2 am, so it helps people from bars around to keep not hungry. I am giving the second star for the good location since it is located in the city center and it was packed...

My daughter and I went here yesterday for lunch. The staff were so lovely - we didn't realise it was cash only (and had no Euro!) So the owner insisted we stay and eat and come back later to pay.

Such incredibly fine service and really made our day with such great kindness.

The kebab was seriously the best kebab I have ever eaten in this world. Even better than Australia! :)

Ich habe lange nachgedacht, wie ich den Döner bewerten soll. Nun komme ich zu dem Entschluss, dass der Döner gut bis sehr gut war.

Zunächst einmal möchte ich betonen, dass mir die örtlichen Gegebenheiten sehr gefallen haben. Es wirkte alles sehr hygienisch und einladend.

Nun gut, ich habe zwei Stichproben dieser Köstlichkeit zu mir genommen. Stichprobe 1: Das Fladenbrot ist ein Traum, ohne Frage und auch das Fleisch sah super aus und hatte eine gute Konsistenz. Leider hat der Döner für mich einen (geschmacklich) langweiligen Eindruck gemacht. Diesen Eindruck hat er vielleicht der Manipulation einer Männergrippe zu verdanken und ist somit nicht zu Werten. Stichprobe 2: Der komplette Döner ist Weltklasse. Anscheinend sollte man den Döner etwa gegen Mitternacht essen, zu dieser Uhrzeit scheint er unheimlich gut zubereitet zu werden.
