A nice little travel to a diferente continent. I love to travel, but at the time I don't have the opportunity.. So this was a little taste of a travel abroad. With a calming atmosphere, a cozy, small, nicely decorated restaurant. Very friendly staff. As a starter I had a sweet potato soup, which was a nice variation to the standard ones you get quite often, nicely spiced. As a main I had some fried cooking bananas with a spicy sauce and some rice, I like it, I am very unfamiliar to African cousine, so I won't judge here, I was expecting a more intense spice experience, but I have no idea how it is supposed to be, so who am I to judge. And finally as desert some fried dough balls with fruit and a mango sauce, definitely recommend! Delicious! 😋 I enjoyed a nice evening by my self with a African mango beer. I ordered two times from this amazing place! The beef (kane's special) was really delicious (homely) but what blew me away was the Tilapia! You can feel the love and care which went into cooking the dish! The sauce was sweet and sour - perfectly balanced, the fish filet was fried lightly and delicately! It keeps its shape, yet falls apart with the slightest bite! The couscous, I have never had couscous so soft and light. I am absolutely blown away, by how delicate and tasty a dish this is! I had to write a review. I really want to meet the chef in person and shake their hands! I myself cook Tilapia (Bangla style) - but now I feel that I must try to cook it in this newly found style....

I read many comments about this place and they were not very flattering so I decided to come check it out. It was a short walk from the train station but close to the road so it was a bit noisy ( I moved to the other side and it was ok) I didn’t know what to choose so I chose something with beef and rice with a Fritz cola (sugar free of course). The food did take a bit of time to get here but it was worth the wait. The meal tasted nice and very seasoned. The meat was not too soft which I like but I suggest you mention if you want it soft. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I suggest you ask for recommendations or just choose a main protein and play around till you find what works out for...
