This was a beautiful little diner recommended to us by the Tweed shop across the road, and they did not disappoint! We were greeted personally the chef, who explained the menu and specials to us. The food was a vibrant fusion of flavours and prepared in different exciting ways. I went with the Ivy Burger, a perfectly layered Mac & Cheese + beef patty burger with the vegetables, cheese and sauces all carefully structured for maximum freshness and no sogginess of the fresh brioche bun. I was given the choice of a salad or chips for my side, the salad I picked was light and zesty, a perfect balance from my burger. I also tried one of their smoothies, a dragonfruit/mango/passionfruit blend that went down like a treat! They also had a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options, my girlfriend picked the chefs special, a polenta based fusion (pictured) and was also delicious! The chef served us our food and came back to check on us throughout the meal to make sure we were all enjoying ourselves!

Loved the atmosphere, the service and above all else the food! I recommend stopping in and trying these guys if...

I'm still buzzing from my amazing experience at Ivy’s Deli (inside Hotel Am Siebersturm)! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, thanks to the lovely owner, Irena. She's clearly passionate about her business and it shows in every aspect of the cafe.

But let's talk about the real star of the show: the Ceremonial Grade Matcha latte! The quality is top-notch, with a rich, velvety texture and a subtle bitterness that's perfectly balanced by the oat mylk option. It's clear that Irena put a lot of care into crafting each drink with high quality ingredients.

But what really sets Ivy’s Deli apart from other cafes in this historic town, is its commitment to inclusivity. The cafe offers an impressive selection of vegan and gluten-free options, including delicious desserts! I loved the banana bread, not too sweet, absolutely delightful when Irena warmed it up for me! There's something for everyone on the menu.

Whether you're a local or just visiting, do yourself a favor and stop by for a Ceremonial Grade Matcha latte (or two, or three)! Thanks for your...

We stumbled upon this brunch spot on our anniversary trip to Rothenburg and could not have been more impressed. We ordered cappuccinos which were really delicious (hard to find a good cappuccino made with a real portafilter espresso machine here in Germany), the pink pitaya smoothie to share, and the French toast and avocado toast. I read an unfortunate review scathing the French toast and have to disagree completely: it was absolutely fantastic! Real maple syrup, seasonal fruits, accommodating to my request for no blueberries- sooooo so good! My husband had the avocado toast and is already dreaming about trying to recreate it. The textures, flavors and presentation were thoughtfully crafted and well-executed. We are already thinking about booking the restaurant tomorrow for brunch again! Cozy and inviting atmosphere & people, and dachshund-friendly. We love it and definitely would recommend it to any foodie looking for a good brunch spot in Rothenburg &...

The food looks pretty, but the taste and quality is terrible. We had the banana bread French toast. The bread was cold and soggy all the way through as of it was soaked in water . More attention was given to the appearance of the food than how the food was prepared. The fruit on the toast also looked good, but was under ripe. The eggs and avocado toast had one egg that was overcooked and another that was cooked properly, but was smeared with entirely too much bean paste (?) something that appeared the be meat but was some sort of bean. It did not add to the appearance or the taste of the plate. The owner must of realized we were not happy because he asked the people next to us how their meal was but did not ask us how ours was. Those people cleaned their plates we did not. The coffee was unremarkable. The kids did enjoy the smoothies. All together I would not recommend eating here for breakfast.
