Second time at this place and the service and hospitality was atrocious. Waited for more than an hour and half at the bar for our food with not even the slightest care from the owners or severs. Asked one of the servers where the food is and he started explaining about how they make things fresh and it's a full house, no apologies for the delay, rather just a lecture. So many tables had got their food even though they came much later than us. What kind of queue system do they have? The owner finally went into the kitchen and told the cook to prepare the meal, the cook comes out a few minutes later all flustered and she starts yelling about how things are made fresh and she only has two hands to work with. Who keeps someone waiting for more than an hour and half for food? Maybe don't allow more customers if you're over capacity, have they thought of that? What rude, uncouth and inhospitable behaviour! The only decency shown was by the old man who I presume is the owner, who later did apologise for the conduct of the cook after we spoke to him about it, trying to explain her behaviour. To think I paid for such service and food. Rush hour at an eatery is one thing, but hospitality seems to be non existent, along with proper manners, politeness and an actual...

Rude , obnoxious German lady cook. Not a friendly place. The experience was awful. First time here was alright. Second time , different story. The younger man seated us at the bar table for over an hour and half before we asked how much longer it would be. He did nothing other than lecture us on how busy they were. Then we asked the older gentleman and he went checking. Just for this, the boss lady cook was so upset that she came to our table and yelled at us saying she had only two hands. Nasty lady and rude service. Only the older gentleman was polite. Paying for such food and rudeness and waiting this long is our mistake. We came in at quarter past seven and got our order around 9 pm.

They have several vegan options but we felt the inordinate delay and overall boorish and unapologetic attitude suggests they are not friendly to patrons who are vegans, non Germans...

Mixed experience. We had a reservation and got seated right away. It took about 15 minutes after we had decided to get the food order in, since there was only one lady taking order and bringing beverages to the customers. We waited an hour for the food. The Flammkuchen were quite good and the selection on the menu is HUGE. However, my bacon chili Flammkuchen didn't have any chili. It was still a new and interesting flavor combination, but after a full hour wait I really didn't want to send it back.
