Eiscafé Valentino — Restaurant in Schwerin

Had an exceedingly bad experience here. My girlfriend and I ordered (in English, since I don't speak German) an ice cream and a large coke to share. Unfortunately our server (approximately 40 year old man) misunderstood me, and when another server (a young woman) brought us the coke, it was a small one. A small mistake and not one to get upset over, but the male server came over and shouted at us, that we should have said "große" (we don't speak german, and I thought he would ask us to clarify at the time of order, if he didn't understand us.) In the end he made us pay for 2 small cokes instead of the large we ended up with, so we paid more than we should have. He also didn't offer us our change, when we paid. Worst service I've...

If I could give zero stars I would. As a tourist, go anywhere but here for an ice cream. The service is absolutely horrendous. We arrived and we’re completely ignored for ten minutes at our table. We went up to take a look at the ice creams and the male waiter at the front looked at us with disgust and as if we were bothering him to order something. He threw the cups around and rolled his eyes the entire time we ordered. At the end, there was a confusion about taking it to go or sitting and as I asked for clarification I was simply ignored. Wir waren aufgrund der guten Bewertungen nach dem Zoobesuch noch auf ein Eis in Schwerin und hatten uns gefreut bei schönem Ambiente lecker Eis zu genießen. Leider wurden wir fast komplett enttäuscht.

Aber erstmal zu den guten Aspekten denn die müssen ja trotzdem erwähnt werden. Lage ist natürlich recht gut in der Fußgängerpassage. Platz gefunden haben wir ohne Wartezeiten und das Eis selbst war auch gut.

Leider haben wir von 4 bestellten Eisbechern 3 falsche bekommen. Wir hatten die Überraschungsei-Kinderbecher bestellt und stattdessen 2mal Maus-Eis bekommen. Dieses aber zum Glück mit den gewünschten Geschmacksrichtungen. Da die Kinder schon angefangen hatten haben wir auf eine Reklamation verzichtet damit nicht alles weggeschmissen werden muss. Statt eines Coppa Italia Bechers für meine Frau gab es 2 Kiwi Becher. Reklamation wurde ohne ein Wort durchgeführt. Der neue Becher war aber gefühlt viel kleiner als der vorige KiwiBecher. Aber egal.

Was aber gar nicht geht ist dass dann auch noch die falschen Becher abgerechnet werden und das Ganze ohne Beleg abgerechnet wird. Maus Eis kostet 5,50 und das Überraschungsei Eis kostet 6,50 sind also bei 2 Kindern 2 Euro Unterschied Auf Nachfrage wurde gesagt dass das gebrachte Eis abgerechnet wurde. Ich war leider so doof und habe eh auf 30 Euro glatt aufgerundet aber statt 60 Cent habe ich so 2,60 gegeben. Kein Beleg und unfreundliche Verabschiedung finde ich unter aller Sau. Trinkgeld hätte ich sicherlich mehr gegeben wenn alles gepasst hätte aber so wird der Laden beim nächsten Besuch gemieden.

Aso Kartenzahlung nicht möglich. Wird wohl einfacher sein so die Gäste besser zu bescheissen. War am Nachbartisch ebenfalls...
