The rudest server ever in our lives.

We had the worst experience with a server in our lives during our lunch at the outside section on July 20.

After waiting 30 minutes, we asked the server about our order. He ignored and bypassed us. After finishing the lunch, we asked him for the bill and said we would pay with a credit card. We wanted to pay and leave quickly because we didn't have too much time. After waiting 10 minutes, we couldn't wait any more, so my wife spoke to the manager. The server finally came to us. When my wife asked to see the price, he confronted her by raising his voice, "Tap here, tap here. You'll see the price." Excuse me?? Customers need to see the price on the card machine before tapping the credit card to pay. Then, the server yelled at me, "2 minutes, you leave." Excuse me?? It was him that forced us to wait there. Otherwise, we would have left right after finishing the lunch.

When we complained to the manager, she behaved very professionally and apologized. The server never apologized. One interesting thing was that the restaurant was full (more than 20 tables) and we were the only Asian people.

Das Mittagessen im Restaurant Lukas war ein rundum wunderbares Erlebnis. Beim Bestellen wurde ich vom Servicepersonal aufmerksam gefragt, sodass ich keine Fehler machte.

Während des Essens wurde mehrfach freundlich nachgefragt, wie es mir schmeckt, begleitet von angenehmem Smalltalk.

Besonders aufmerksam war auch der Moment, als einem anderen Tisch mit Hund von sich aus angeboten wurde, Wasser für das Tier zu bringen. Auch die Toiletten waren sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Am meisten hat mich berührt, wie freundlich und verständnisvoll das Team mit einem kleinen Missgeschick meinerseits umgegangen ist.

Da ich schon lange kein Deutsch mehr gesprochen hatte, habe ich einige Fehler gemacht – trotzdem war das Personal sehr freundlich und offen zu mir. Leider kenne ich den Namen der Mitarbeiterin/des Mitarbeiters nicht, aber ich hoffe sehr, dass dieser Dank sie oder ihn erreicht.

The food was excellent. Some of the best flavored fish I have ever tried. The service on the other hand? Awful. We made a reservation and when we arrived the server who greeted us (and ultimately waited on us) acted like we were an absolute inconvenience to his day. We were sat at a terrible spot - by the kitchen prep and children’s play area. We were traveling for our honeymoon and hoped for a little more ambiance with our dining. This place came highly recommended and we do recommend it for the food… I just hope you receive better service. We also got tricked into giving a larger tip than is accustomed but whatever, we’ll put good karma...
