Rothe Konditorei & Café — Restaurant in Schwerin

A nice place to chill in the town Had an one-day trip here in Schwerin from Berlin, we just arrived at the Rathaus around 12:30 in the noon, then my friend and me walked a bit in the town to explore the small town. We finally chose this cafe for lunch. Nice location and atmosphere, we sat in the outdoor area of the cafe and after around 15 mins, one waiter found us and still not giving us menu until we asked. Then we placed our order at 13:10, just two coffees and two dishes. Then until 13:50 no food served for us, we asked another waiter, ok, they forgot our order. Then we waited like 15 mins to get our food. That’s really annoyed to wait around 50 mins after three-hour train. Eine Hochzeitstorte als Sahnehäubchen des Kuchenbuffets!

Wir haben im Juli unsere kichliche Trauung gefeiert. Einer der Höhepunkte einer Hochzeit ist aus unserer Sicht das anschneiden der Hochzeitstorte, damit die Gäste auch sehen, wer in der Ehe das Sagen hat. Wir brauchten eine Torte für 130 Personen. Da wir das Café Rothe schon öfter besucht haben und wussten wie lecker die Torten dort schmecken, haben wir uns gleich an Frau Rothe gewandt. Die Vorabsprachen verliefen absolut professionell, zum Vorkosten haben wir auch noch ein paar Tortenstücke in den beabsichtigten Geschmacksrichtungen mitgenommen.
