I recently took brunch at Cafe Treppe, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From start to finish, there were several issues that made the visit less than pleasant.
Slow Service: The staff members seemed to move at a glacial pace. It took an eternity just to place our order. We sat there, hungry and impatient, waiting for someone to take our order. It’s frustrating when you’re ready to eat, and the staff doesn’t seem to care.
Unfriendly Staff: The unfriendliness of the staff was palpable. They barely cracked a smile, and their interactions felt robotic. It’s essential for restaurant staff to create a welcoming atmosphere, but it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests.
Subpar Food Quality: When the food finally arrived, it didn’t live up to expectations. The dishes lacked flavor and finesse. The eggs were overcooked, the bread was not fresh, and the salad was limp.
Price vs. Quantity vs. Quality: Here’s where things really went downhill. The prices were too high, considering the portion sizes and quality. Don’t get fooled by the prices in the menu because quantity is very small and that is how they trick people to get in.
In summary, this cafe fell short on multiple fronts. Slow service, unfriendly staff, mediocre food, and poor value for money all contributed to a disappointing dining experience. I won’t be returning...

Service – 100/10. We joked very nicely with the waiter, haha. My German is bad, but I tried and at the most crucial moment I forgot the name of the panini that I took and called it simply “Panini Rrr”. The waiter picked up on the joke, it was cute and funny.
What can I say about the food: I took the above-mentioned “Panini Rrr”, it turned out to be expectedly tasty and filling, I really liked the presentation. I was also pleased with the delicious Latte Macchiato, since I rarely come across truly...
