Hello everybody!) Some of you know me as a Chef 👨🍳 of Gottlieb Cafe and I had a pleasure to run this place and to create a menu for all of you, our beloved guests! This menu was made with love and passion and some of the dishes came from Ukraine , from my food delivery company - Just Meat BBQ™️,@justmeatbbq, with me after a war. I’m very happy that you like everything I made for you from the very opening of Gottlieb. I know how you love the carrot cake and apple pie, brownie and tiramisu..., and I promise you that you will taste them again but in another place! Unfortunately we stopped our cooperation with Gottlieb Cafe and I have to move on. That means that I leave and take my menu with me and you will have a new, and I hope better menu, and desserts as well. If I could give worse than one star for the service, I would. A friend of mine was there (on a weekday) at approximately 3:00 PM; she sat at a small table for two. She had lunch and a drink and began working on her laptop. Meanwhile, she ordered cake and coffee. I joined her at approximately 6:30 PM to work together on our laptops, and I also had coffee. At approximately 7:30 PM, the server came to us and said, "I don't know how much longer you will stay, but we need the table." Read moreThe flat whites we ordered were pretty shockingly bad for the price. The espresso base was over extracted and bitter, felt like I paid 4.70 a piece for a flat white made with stale Lavazza. But that's okay, sometimes one doesn't pay attention to brew times and brew ratios when so many customers are around. What's not okay, however, is to be unfriendly while serving or ignore the requests for payment. I'm talking about the gentleman who was serving outside today. He knows. Why choose a career that demands people skills when none are present? Beats me. Nothing outrageous though - do not get me wrong. But just enough of a sour attitude for us to choose another place in future to have a decent cup of coffee :)
