Gustaff has always been a place for me to unwind, great drinks, beautiful atmosphere, and that special vibe. It totally reminds me of the cafés and restaurants in Williamsburg, stylish, relaxed, and urban.

Recently, I discovered they have a burger special on Wednesdays, so of course, I had to give it a try. The service, as always, was super friendly. We ordered the Classic Burger and the Gustaff Burger, mine without bacon. I know, for some people bacon is a must, but as a Muslim, and since there wasn’t an alternative made from beef or poultry, I just left it out. Still, both burgers looked fantastic and tasted great. The brioche bun was soft and delicious, and the meat was juicy and flavorful.

There was one thing I noticed though: the burger came with a lot of arugula, which wasn’t listed on the menu. The taste of the arugula was quite strong, a bit too much for my preference, and it slightly overpowered the meat.

Don’t get me wrong, it was still a very good burger, and I’ll definitely be coming back! But next time, I’ll order the Gustaff Burger without the arugula, to better enjoy the flavor...

Wish I could properly review the drinks but unfortunately, I cannot. We sat for 15 minutes today, waved at the waitress to take our order after about 8 minutes of waiting, she smiled and ignored us and then took the order of the table right beside us, which wouldn't be an issue but they came in 10 minutes AFTER we did! We left and won't be trying this...
