I recently dined at this wonderful restaurant, and I’m already looking forward to going back! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed not only by the warm ambiance but also by the exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making our experience as enjoyable as possible. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish was packed with fresh flavors and prepared to perfection. You could tell that a lot of thought and care went into each plate, making every bite truly memorable. One of the most heartwarming moments of the night was when we noticed a little street cat hanging around outside, clearly hungry. The staff saw it too, and without hesitation, they brought out a small plate of food for the little guy. Once the cat had finished, they even removed the plate to keep the street clean, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. It was such a sweet, compassionate gesture that showed just how much they care, not only about their guests but also about the community around them. Amazing food, lovely staff, and that touch of kindness — this place really has it all. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

The worst place ever in Athens. The food was terrible. The mixed grill for 2 persons was terrifying. The meat was unrecognisable. What did I eat? I still have no clue. Everything was overcooked and had a weird flavour. While feeling flabbergasted on how bad the food was, there was music playing in the background: “Mashallah…mashallah”. Certainly not the best song when “enjoying” dinner. In the evening the place can get quite cold. You can only sit outside. A cold rainy night at stoke sometimes feels warmer. If you want to feel like you are enjoying a holiday in Greece DONT go here. Go somewhere else. (Literally the restaurant next to this place).

The owner was incredibly welcoming and kindly offered us complimentary pita bread and desserts. As our first meal after arriving in Athens, it was truly memorable and delicious. We ordered a Greek salad and moussaka to experience authentic Greek cuisine, and they did not disappoint. The portions were generous for the price and very affordable compared to the touristy areas of Athens. The atmosphere was lively with pleasant background music, and the staff was friendly and attentive—someone even kindly escorted me to the restroom when I asked. I’ve never experienced such warm and heartfelt service in Athens!

Came to this restaurant due to their high star rating and to try somewhere new in the area. Unfortunately this has been the worst dining experience we have had whilst on our trip. The meal came to a somewhat sour start when our dip was seemingly forgotten. On our whole trip we have been enjoying Greek salad however the Greek salad here (in our opinion) is subpar and was the first portion of food on our trip that we did not finish (we barely ate it). Our mains came out after an appropriate time however I had an issue with my plate of kebab. The kebab is served with chips, yogurt and a spicy sauce. Within my first bites, I was dipping the chips in the spicy sauce and there was what I can only assume was a STONE in it! After having bitten down on it I spit it out and examined it on a tissue even going as far as to tap it on the table and it making a solid sound. We brought this to the attention of a server who informed us that they buy the sauce and took it to the kitchen for an explanation. After returning the server tried to tell me that it was a large piece of salt. I found this explanation a bit ridiculous given how solid the piece was and having tasted it, it was not salty like having a large piece of salt in your mouth would be. Despite this, efforts were made to repair. My food was taken and re-plated without the rocky sauce and some additional chips on top. Unfortunately the additional chips were greasy and floppy unlike the previous portion which were light and crispy and I would have rather not had them added to my plate. As far as the kebab itself is concerned it was adequate although priced higher than the average we have experienced. Not the best I’ve had but not bad. Given all of this I cannot recommend eating here, especially when there are some amazing places to eat in the...

A Dissapointing decline into a Tourist Trap Territory. By the Wyndham Grand Hotel

I’ve given this place multiple chances over the years, but it’s clear that it’s heading downhill—and fast. What was once a decent spot has now become a tragic, overpriced tourist trap.

Let’s start with the Greek salad. For the price, I expected something authentic and well-prepared. Instead, it was barely dressed, with just a spritz of olive oil, leaving no flavorful juices to soak up with bread (if you even wanted to). Seasoning? Non-existent, and no salt or pepper was brought for us to add ourselves. The feta, usually a nice thick slab in a proper Greek salad, was served in four pitiful chunks. It’s baffling how they’ve managed to make such a simple dish so underwhelming.

Then there was the souvlaki. Dry and flavorless, it arrived on a mini spit as if that somehow justified the inflated price. Maybe if it had been battery-operated and revolving, it would’ve at least been entertaining. Unfortunately, the gimmick didn’t distract from the mediocre food.

Service was another letdown. The waitress was pleasant enough, but our order was taken after people who arrived long after us. Not great, considering how little they had to do given the slow service.

As a local, I’ve given this place more than enough chances to improve, but it just keeps getting worse. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money here unless you’re a tourist looking for an overpriced meal and a side of disappointment. Save yourself the trouble and head elsewhere—there’s far better food to be found that won’t leave you...

Went here two times and would go again- excellent all around! FOOD: My party tried many dishes: Pita, Zucchini Balls, Dolmades, Greek Salad, Stuffed Tomatoes and Peppers, Moussaka, Stuffed Cabbage Leaves, Chicken Souvlaki, and Chicken Fillet. Everything was delicious, and the Stuffed Cabbage leaves stand out as a top choice- completely unique flavor and unlike any other stuffed cabbage we’ve had. ATMOSPHERE: Although it was quite hot outside when we ate, (100°f,40°c) we found it quite cool at our table with all the fans blowing. Very comfortable and nice view of Athens. Interesting fish tank with quite uncommon Cichlids- very fun to see the fish although it would be nice if the tank was kept cleaner, as there was significant algae growth. Take good care of those fish, they’re quite a find for aquarium keepers! SERVICE: The service was what really stands out here. Chefs are very accommodating and the staff are extremely personable and lovely to talk to, not to mention generous! On that hot day we were treated to mini ice cream bars which we all greatly appreciated and have never seen anything like. The ice cream was delicious and the gesture exemplifies the care this business takes to keep customers comfortable and cared for. OVERALL: HIGHLY recommend this place for everybody- there are vegetarian and vegan options that are outstanding and there are family options as well. Above and beyond service. This place is truly a...
