National Theatre of Greece — Attraction in Athens

It not a big and need one good cleaning to be more bright. It have planty talented actors. But I expect more classical way to show the great original. For example, directly for me interpretation of Shakespeare was too modern and great meaning was put down by flat sexual moving of actors. Anyway, my recommendation firstly read at what interpretation it will be and after go (mostly with children, who better to grow on more original version). We went for Ghete Faust and it was a total disaster! Such a great peace of work of literature was ruined by the modern view of the stage director. Can you imagine Romeo&Juliette for example with Juliette wearing a mini skirt and high hills? Well tastes differ, but I believe classical literature must not be spoiled by the modern interpretation.
