Great Indian food! Outside the too busy center, cool and open, with a nice breeze. The food is traditional and very tasty, not too spicy specifically for the softer Greek pallet. Yet with plenty of options if you want a kick, a great variety and great portions too!!! Oh my god I loved it. The service was excellent, you know it's going to be good when the staff are actually from India. I enjoyed my time here, the food came quickly and the staff where kind and pleasant to talk to. After a few days of indulging in the delicious flavors of Greece, I found myself craving the comforting taste of home — and by sheer coincidence (or fate!), I stumbled upon Basmati Indian Restaurant tucked right behind my hotel.

I dropped in for lunch and ordered dal tadka, rice, roti, and a refreshing lemon soda. From the very first bite, I was transported straight back home — the flavors were authentic, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The food wasn’t just delicious, it was soul-soothing.

It was a very nice experience! This restaurant is located on a quiet street and offers both a lovely garden seating area and an indoor air-conditioned space.

The service was excellent — very attentive and friendly. At the end of the meal, they even treated us to a local mango dessert, which was just amazing!

The food was excellent. You can choose your preferred level of spiciness — from very spicy to not spicy at all. We ordered naan and potato bread, one vegetarian cheese dish, and one chicken dish. Everything was freshly made and served in traditional plates.
