Sin Athina offers a charming experience with a stunning view of the Acropolis that makes it a must-visit spot in Athens. The food was absolutely delicious; I had the Greek kebab with tomato sauce and Greek yogurt, which was flavorful and satisfying. However, the highlight of my visit was the wonderful waitress who, despite being the only one on duty and clearly rushed off her feet, was incredibly polite, helpful, and charming. She even took the time to teach me some Greek words, adding a personal touch to the experience. While the food and service were excellent, the decor could use some attention. Some of the chairs were a bit dirty, and a fresh coat of paint would definitely brighten up the place. Despite this, the overall experience was great, thanks in large part to the overworked but dedicated staff. I also enjoyed an ice-cold ΜΑΜΟΣ beer, which was recommended by the waitress and did not disappoint. She certainly earned her tip and was undoubtedly the best part of the visit. Sin Athina is a place I would return to, especially for the service and the unbeatable view.

ORDERED: 🧀 Grilled Haloumi: with baked tomatoes & greek pita bread (€12.00) 🥗 Greek Salad: tomato, cucumber, olives, feta cheese, capers, onion, olive oil, oregano (€12.00) 🐙 Octopus: with mixed salad and dressing (~€18.00) REVIEW: We came by Sin Athina without a booking for an early dinner (5.30pm). Quite tourist friendly, we bumped into a waiter outside who beckoned us in with the promise of being seated upstairs 🤩. Seated upstairs at Sin Athina, we had gorgeous views of the Acropolis with food that was quite generous with their portions. Between two, we could've gone without a dish... most likely the Haloumi dish because the pita bread was a little too dry for my liking. Talking about the food, the green part of the salad seemed a little sad, while the tomatoes were bright and great! The greek tomatoes are one of the best I've ever had. Food came at a reasonable time as well. The service is fantastic. The sunset was getting into our eyes, and the very kind waiters were quick to roll their shutters down to make sure our dining experience was comfortable. ευχαριστώ!

Location 5/5: the rooftop is incredible, the view on the Acropolis is amazing, the place is quite fancy, and it is easy to reach. Menù 4/5 everything is really good and well made, the octopus is sublime, the lamb was really tender and tasty, meatballs really tender and rich of flavour, the sauces are really good too, the only inconvenient is the ice cream that is not good, the texture is strange. Service 2/5: the waitress has been really nice all the time, at the beginning the waiters were nice but then they started to stress me, maybe because they wanted the table, but I booked the table for 3 hours. Price 4/5: the price is good for what we have eaten and the view but not for the waiters. Sin Athina is a really great place, astonishing view, good food, but I would never come back there for celebrating events like the last of the year, there is too much pressure from the men of the staff. But if you want great food with an incredible view is perfect

While boasting majestic views of the Acropolis, Sin Athina disappointingly fails to deliver a complete fine dining experience. The stunning vistas initially distract from the restaurant's shortcomings, but disappointing food and disorganized service make for an underwhelming overall evening.

I opted for the veal chop, which arrived small and woefully underseasoned. The few roasted potatoes served were nicely crispy and fluffy, but could not make up for the lackluster chop. While the food proved mediocre, the real issue was the haphazard service. With no clear table sections, servers bounced unpredictably between tables. This led to long lag times between courses and difficulty flagging down staff when needed. On one occasion, after finally getting our server's attention for drink refills, we were told our original server was now off duty and we had been transferred to a new one - with no notification or introduction.

With stunning views upstairs of the Acropolis, Sin Athina shows initial promise. But disorganized service and mediocre execution leave much to be desired. With refined cuisine and a more attentive and structured front-of-house staff, the restaurant could take far better advantage of its prime location. As is, you may still want to visit for the views over a drink, but come with modest culinary...

This was one of the most amazing dinners I have ever had. I made a same day reservation for the terrace for dinner at 6:30pm. We arrived to the restaurant and were instructed by a waitress to head all the way to the top....The view was SPECTACULAR! We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who let us choose our table and gave us the menu updates. We tried the meatballs for an appetizer, slow cooked lamb and tender beef for main dishes along with homemade pita bread and a bottle of Moscato. Everything was absolutely delicious. The wait staff on the terrace were extremely attentive; refilling our glasses, bringing hot dishes to the table and removing empty ones. We were able to take gorgeous photos and even try their homemade vanilla ice cream which might have been one of the best dishes of ice cream I've ever had.... and it was only vanilla. If in the area and looking for somewhere to eat, this restaurant will not disappoint. Make a reservation for upstairs and enjoy the best view of the Acropolis or sit outside along the pedestrian walkway and take in the city. Whenever I take a trip back to Greece, this will be the spot I look forward...

I was visiting Athens for a business trip, it hosted conference related to my business. I was advised to go to Thissio as it's beautiful, not so crowded area, with fantastic view at Acropolis. I decided first night to try Sin Athina restaurant. 5 of us had business dinner and meeting and we decided to sit down, at the street level. Everything was perfect, good, service, it was quiet enough so we could have our business discussions and view at Acropolis is amazing. Next night we came back and decided to take some of our business partners to roof top terrace. This was even better experience than first night, as view at Acropolis was even better and whole atmosphere was fantastic. I had chance to have a chat with owner, manager, all of them great people, making us to feel so welcome in their restaurant, fantastic service and what i appreciate a lot as it was very personal, i wanted to make a toast for birth of my baby boy and all shots were gift from house, and there were 9 of us. So sweet and nice gift for the end of perfect night. Bravo for Sin Athina and for all people...
