We decided to have dinner here on our first night at Athens and we had an amazing time. The place was packed and there were two singers singing and this created an energetic and fun atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much that we went back a week later, the last night of our trip. This time there were no singers so we had a calm and relaxing dinner. We still had fun though, the only difference was that the place was more calm. Both times the attention we got was amazing. The owner of the restaurant was incredibly nice and made jokes all the time that lifted the group's mood up. She even recognized us from the first day we went there! Not only that, she also gave us amazing advice on what food to choose and what dishes where the most popular amongst locals. She even told us about traditions and how to have dinner "the Greek way". We all left happy and satisfied with the attention that we had. As for the food, it was amazing. We were seven and we were able to try different dishes that we all shared and liked. The quality was top tier and it was clear that each dish was made with love and dedication. Definitely one of the best restaurants I went to in Greece! We had a great time! I highly...
Read moreThis was the best food in Athens for me. I got tired of eating at all the tripadvisor restaurants since those are very heavy and leans a bit on the unhealthy side. This place cleansed my palette. Everything I had there was good. This was the best food in Athens for me. The eggplant dish gets double star. The kouvormas was outstanding - this is the first time meat felt refreshing and not heavy/oily. The chicken curry with couscous was fantastic - I only wish it were not pearl couscous. The fava, sausage, the yogurt with cherry - everything was top notch.
The best thing about the restaurant is the server lady. As soon as she understood that we are bunch of internationals, she guided us to create the authentic greek food experience for us. 10/10 - will...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic experience in a lowkey romantic spot, led into the backyard by the sweetest server lady we were greeted by charming environment and it's guardian cat. The chef, miss Ala came over to our table to greet us and kindly explain the menu and recommend their dishes. Ordered what she recommended, the Eggplants with Cheese and Tomato, along with Saganaki and Sfakiani Pie. Everything tasted delicious and fresh, and the cat accompanied us kindly, wasn't even trying to get any food from us :)) 10/10 experience, I'll definitely come back, and before that I'll recommend it to anyone interested in spending time...
