YAYU is undoubtedly the best place for specialty coffee in all of Athens. I had the pleasure of staying in the city for several months, and YAYU became my go-to spot. Everytime, I looked forward to spending time in YAYU, where there are always two types of coffee to choose from. They also have a selection of beans from famous roasters available for purchase on the shelf.

I must mention their cookies, which are absolutely the best I've ever had. I highly recommend picking something sweet to accompany your coffee—you definitely won't regret it!

What truly makes YAYU exceptional is the owner and the staff. The owner is the kindest, friendliest, and most helpful person in the world, and the same goes for the baristas. Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming, which adds to the YAYU's charm and creates an atmosphere that you'll want to return to again and again. YAYU is not only amazing for its space and excellent coffee but also for the personal and friendly approach of the owner and baristas.

Additionally, it's worth mentioning that there is a fully equipped and very pleasant co-working space located above the café. This is a huge plus for those looking for a productive place to work.

I love this Place! Nico (the owner) makes a great job, he impressed me with his knowledge about coffee, really professional! But he’s really kind, that’s unfortunately not common in the specialty coffee scene.. It’s also great that you have enough space to drink your coffee and enjoy one of this delicious pastries. The best place for a coffee in whole city! You can find delicious coffee and also small snacks and desserts here and enjoy nice time with a beautiful atmosphere either downstairs with a view at the bar where you can see all the preparations or also upstairs where they have a working space which is amazing!
