Breadman — Restaurant in Athens

Visited for Sunday brunch and snagged a table inside, as the outside seating area wasn't very appealing – there are tables on the sidewalk. Our waitress, however, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

We ordered the Croque Madame and the Maple Syrup Pancakes both of which were delicious, though a more generous pour of syrup would have been appreciated.

Unfortunately, our coffee order got off to a rocky start. We ordered two coffees and a orange juice, but it took more than 20 minutes for the order to arrive at our table.

Despite the coffee hiccup, the food and overall service were excellent. This issue kept me from giving a full 5 stars, but I'll definitely give this place another try, hoping the coffee situation was...

Nice brunch options. Well presented, nicely cooked. The avocado on toast was the better of the two dishes. The egg royal also a very nice dish but the koulouri serving as the base was harder than it should be - we tried one of the fresh ones as well and it was quite softer. Not sure if that was by design. A few tables allow to sit in if you go early enough. The shop seems to be quite busy with deliveries so service isn't the quickest but they are still good. Location isn't the best but it's convenient if you live in the area. I'd probably consider ordering at home rather than visiting the shop as it seems to be set up well...

Lovely Morning Spot with Great Food and Service

I stopped by for breakfast and had the Croque Madame along with a flat white—both were absolutely delicious. The dish was rich and satisfying, and the coffee was perfectly balanced.
