Nice breakfast pastry shop just down the road from an Airbnb we were staying at. I got a chicken pita and my partner got a greens pita. I liked both! Very inexpensive and authentic.
The only complaint I have is that there are beggars who come by and disturb the patrons—we had 3 come by and ask us for money in the short time we were seated. One of them was even incredulous that we didn’t even have 10 cents to spare. Literally, after we said we had no cash, he said “10 cents? Not even 10 cents?? I will probably not be reviewing the other establishments unless I am...
Read moreA pleasant enough place for a quick walk-by bite but as for authentic pastries or anything worth making effort to come to it is lacking. The fillo is too crispy at the top and too soft at the bottom, needs clear and clean cooking all the way through. That could just be put down to their style if the fillings were good. Unfortunately the flavour is very bland. The feta cheese & tomato was hardly discernible from the pastry. There are many better...
