We had stayed here for a night on our last night in Greece and there’s a couple of things I have to say: The room was very spacious and had a tiny kitchen in the room was great for this that decide they want to cook with a table and 2 chairs there. Location was good as it was near restaurants and shops. They provide breakfast here which has limited options but it was still delicious regardless! There’s not even a lobby but a small desk where they check us in but it was manageable. There’s also an elevator too. I will say the water/soda/liquor is not complimentary. There will be noises outside late night but they do provide earplugs which helped a lot. Now, there was a receptionist that checked us in which I understand he was trying to make jokes but we also felt there was sass to it which we didn’t feel much comfortable around him. He asked where were we from and we mentioned we’re from USA and he made a face and a joke which I’m like ok I’ll pass that but then we mentioned we’re Mexican-Americans and he made a comment “Even worse so you’re fake Americans.” We also asked him where is he from since he sounded like he had a different accent and he mentioned he lived in UK but is Albanian/Greek and I wanted to throw sass back “so you’re a fake Greek”. Anywho, my cousin also asked him a question but he seemed annoyed so we tried to avoid him after. The next day, when we were checking out, we encountered different set of staff that was...
Read moreStunning! I've stayed in Athens so many times, this was the best hotel I've ever chosen . ●The best quality of cleaning service, they take care of every detail in you room , really important daily cleaning service for those who are interested. ●breakfast is top, one of the best choices to eat in the hotel, they serve it in your room, really impressive menu and it cover every demand. Fresh and tasty . ●The room, new renovated , they keep it so well that it looks you are the first guests staying in . Little fully equipped kitchen , including coffee machine and kettle , and offering some coffee capsules and tea options. Being able to dim the light at night is the best thing that has happened to me as I sleep with a night light on. ●Location perfect , you can not hear the noise from central road , very close by if you want to move by metro and busses . Even by taxi it's very easy, better walk to the bus station and order or take a taxi from there , to avoid few minutes of traffic ( it takes few more minutes if you order the taxi at the entrance of the hotel , but it's really nice and short walk from hotel to taxi/bus station ) . ● The staff that welcomes you each time , amazing, they care about their guests , smiling and good vibes. ●lastly, we would like to thank the owner for this amazing hotel and for his choosen staff. Good people working clearly. ●Thank you staff at Reseption, Kitchen and housekeeping...
Read moreFor our first time in Athens, we came to love our stay at Dwell.
Dwell is very well located within the city, close to lots of transportation options, and walking distance from many “must see” attractions. There is lots of shopping and wonderful restaurants to try. We were grateful that one of the staff members gave us amazing restaurants recommendations! Our room was gorgeous and we loved the design features which accentuated it. The staff was very helpful and friendly!
The best thing about Dwell besides location, is their food! We were blown away by how delicious the breakfast options were and it was great we were there for several days so we got to try almost everything. (They had a menu of options not a buffet.) Breakfast was included in our stay.
Notes for access needs: There is an elevator, but there are two steps to get into the building to access the elevator. Our floor, room and bathroom were all flat with no steps or lips to step over. The hotel entrance is on a small walkway that does not face the street so taxis or other vehicles cannot drop you off directly in front of...
