It was our last day in Athens and we had the worst experience here when we went for dinner. When we first reached the restaurant there were three tables occupied from about 12 and the others were all empty but reserved. So we asked for a table for three and they said nothing is available and one table might get empty in a while so we decided to wait since the reviews were so good for the place. We waited for at least 40 minutes while the table which we were waiting for was just wasting time and were not even dining all that time and just chatting. The staff there could literally have just given us one of the other empty tables there cos we would have even finished eating before any other guest arrived but the staff was extremely RUDE, obnoxious on another level and felt like they treated us like we were not welcome there cos we were brown. Nevertheless we waited and after finally getting a table the server took ages to take our order and looked like she was purposely keeping us waiting. The food took another 45 minutes to arrive (we were starving) and it was SO AVERAGE that it was a complete waste of time opting to dine here. It was so upsetting to have such a horrible experience just before leaving Greece and while we waited here we even went through their Google reviews with multiple people complaining about the same experience we had and how the staff are just the WORST. It’s shocking to see a country that is SO BROKE and literally survives only on Tourism to be treating their customers this way. YOU guys need to teach your staff some basic manners and etiquettes on how you welcome your guests. Just Pathetic behavior and I would discourage anybody from...
Read moreIn the heart of Athens, you'll find a small trattoria tucked away in a beautifully decorated underground space. While the interior boasts a cozy and inviting charm, the outdoor seating area is less appealing—the constant noise from the bustling street and the uncomfortable tables and chairs might prompt a hasty departure. The food was underwhelming overall, with only a few redeeming aspects. For the salad, we tried the Panzanella, a mix of cherry tomatoes, cucumber, onion, carob rusks, tomato vinegar, stracchino cheese, fresh basil, and pesto rosso. As an appetizer, we ordered the Carpaccio Di Manzo, featuring beef tenderloin, Parmesan cheese, baby arugula, pickled radishes, caper berries, and sage mayonnaise. From the pizza selection, we opted for the Pepperoni, made with San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, and spicy pepperoni. While the pepperoni packed a flavorful punch, the tomato sauce fell flat, lacking depth and distinctive taste. To finish, we indulged in the Tiramisu for dessert, which was a pleasant surprise and stood out as the highlight of the meal. All in all, the experience was disappointing—a venue that seems to promise charm but ultimately...
Read moreAmazing pizza with great staff. The atmosphere is nice, very chilled.
The pizza dough is soft and airy without a hint of chewiness. The toppings on everything were perfectly balanced and the flavours were amazing.
Its a traditional napoli style pizza, and the best we found in Athens. Most places seem to have quite heavy dough with too many toppings, but this was perfect.
The only seating is outside but when we were a bit cold they turned the heater on for us.
It is down a narrow side street next to a more main road so might be hard to spot, but the location on Google maps was accurate.
Bad sides were that the toilet had no lock(!?), the only seating was outside, the tables are quite close together and there were some big scooters that came through very close to the seating as there's not much room in the obviously pedestrian alley.
Super amazing pizza here though and will be going back every time we...
