Low Profile Whisky Bar — Restaurant in Athens

This is a really great whiskey bar. We showed up early in a Sunday and Jason was able to guide me through some of his favorite scotch and I had an unbelievable time. He also provided us some delectable food and suggested some absolute top-notch places to visit on our last day in Greece. Even shared one of his favorite cigars with me. That was yesterday, and as I write this we are in a cab to go pay him another visit at Low Profile before we fly out.

As far as the bar goes, they have a significantly above-average selection ranging from clean and blended to heavily peated single malts and everything in between. Compared to my favorite whiskey bar in the world, Tokyo's Bar Nero, the selection isn't quite there (but I don't think many places can touch the vast collection housed at Nero) while the service and atmosphere are on a par with the best. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable for high-end 12-year-aged liquors.

Excellent whisky bar with big selection of whiskies divided by categories. Scotch single malts - highlands, lowlands, campbeltown, islay, islands and speyside, blended, japanese, irish, bourbon etc. The prices are very fair.
