This “One-Stop-Shopping for all” place was introduced by the concierge at InterContinental hotel from a block away. The owner of Gaia carefully and proudly lined-up numbers of items i.e. beverages, liquors, coffee, pastries, snacks and souvenirs… whatever you need during the travel must be found at here with very reasonable prices. But the best part is the coffee! I was introduced to iced Greek coffee and addicted immediately hence I kept stopping by this shop for purchasing a cup of cold coffee, lounging on the bench under the parasol where shop owner nicely prepared. The owner is a very fluent English speaker, probably better than me, therefore this shop has a lot of English speaking customers as well as native residents. PROS: A wonderful shop owner! I felt welcomed there every time I went. Even had some great conversation while there. He really does have everything you could need and some things you know, you just want. ; ) Tasty coffee! Possibly the best Freddo Espresso I drank while in Greece. A refreshing Aperol Spritz. Perfect for a sweltering July day in Athens. A relaxing veranda to enjoy your Freddo.

The owner of the shops has carefully chosen products in his Sortiment, which I assume you can’t get everywhere- so apart from the day to day items you find unique product of Greece. I highly recommend to have one of the home made meals - delicious and very affordable.
I highly recommend to visit this place have a meal, enjoy a coffee and have a chat with the owner. It will make your stay in Athens definitely more memorable. Last but not least if you are on the look out for local products - this is the place to go.
