First of all this place is way overpriced for what it is. But what truly sets it apart is the ridiculously bad service. Any slower you’d need to call a doctor. In the latest event, Leonidas the slow guy upfront got a mass call order while we were in the queue which sold out his product WHILE we were in the queue. He then proceeded to tell us that we could not have ONE croissant because ALL the remaining croissants were sold to the phone order which happened in front of our eyes AFTER we had waited there in line. He had NO idea how to manage it and he instead said that per policy all orders go to the calls first. That’s what u call customer service!!! This place is vastly overrated on all accounts.
This is a reply to the owner’s standard reaction as expected. No the employee did not offer any substitutes. He essentially said come back next time. If he had not been so slow or if he had been more sympathetic to the mother waiting in line to get a croissant for the child, he would NOT have delivered ALL the remaining croissants to the call order that came in AFTER the mother had been there already for some time. So no there are no excuses it is just pathetic service. This place remains way overrated, way overpriced for the quality of the product and service provided. Which may be why they prioritize bulk phone orders now. Which btw mostly go wasted coz nobody who orders over the phone really eats the 16 croissants. Just a...

Now, let's talk about the food. The full-grain sour dough bread here is a game-changer. It's hearty, wholesome, and packed with flavor. You can tell that they take pride in using quality ingredients, and it truly sets their bread apart.

But that's not all; their mortadella sandwich is a work of art. The bagel is the canvas for a masterpiece of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The mortadella is rich and flavorful, and the combination of flavors and textures in the sandwich is a taste sensation.

Read moreAn incredibly sweet spot with beautiful yellow tones and well-considered architectural details. It’s not just a bakery — it’s a story you can read right on the window as you walk in. Their sourdough journey began in Copenhagen, where head baker Ianthi created her own starter and later brought it back to Athens. The starters — charmingly named Bread Pitt, Dough Vader, and Khaleesi — are at the heart of everything they bake.
Their bread is cold-fermented for over 20 hours, a slow process that enhances flavor and creates a dark, caramelized crust — the signature “kora.” The texture is deeper, and the taste is richer than conventional bread. They even joke about how customers think it’s burnt until they take a bite and realize it’s exactly how bread should be.
We had a lovely experience here. The space is bright, welcoming, and full of thoughtful touches. A must-visit for design lovers and bread...
