Mikel Coffee — Restaurant in Athens

I've been in many Mikel coffee shops and what I see, on Victoria square is my favourite one. It's small and cute and service is very hospitable. Also, for the last few months I'm glad to see the same barista (curly young man with black hair), who always makes coffee that tastes so good! As I mentioned, I checked many places before, but only here, on Victoria, my coffee tastes the way I really enjoy it. P.S. You may ask your coffee with coconut or almond milk to be made. Also, there is a variety of ice tea and different pies, in case if you get hungry. I tried few if them - with spinach, Philadelphia cheese and cheese&honey, all if them was fresh and tasted good. According to the service, there is one young very polite server Denis (with brown hair), that speaks English, provides a professional hospitality. Τίμιος καφές και γενικότερα προτιμώ τα Mikel λόγω καλής σχέσης τιμής και ποιότητας. Σήμερα όμως ήταν η πρώτη φορά που έπαιρνα συγκεκριμένα από το κατάστημα της Βικτωρίας και ήταν και η πρώτη φορά που η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν απαράδεκτη. Μπήκα κανονικά να παραγγείλω με τη σειρά μου στον κύριο στο ταμείο και την ίδια στιγμή μία κοπέλα περνάει μπροστά μου, με σπρώχνει και παραγγέλνει. Της εξηγώ ότι είναι η σειρά μου, με κοιτάει και δε μου μιλάει (συνεχίζει να παραγγέλνει) το εξηγώ και στον υπάλληλο στο ταμείο ο οποίος ούτε στην καλημέρα μου απάντησε ούτε στα παράπονα μου και απλά πήρε παραγγελία από την κοπέλα που αθέτησε μια σειρά που περίμεναν όλοι για να παραγγείλει πρώτη, δε φταίει αυτή όμως, φταίει ο υπάλληλος στο ταμείο που δεν έκανε σωστά τη δουλειά του. Δεν είναι συνηθισμένο αυτό για τα Mikel συνήθως έχουν άψογο προσωπικό. Λυπάμαι αλλά δε θα ξαναπροτιμησω το κατάστημα...

As always a MIKEL is a classy place that doesnt dissapoint. The prices are good as always and the service is pretty good too. My only concern is that its located in a really busy corner and the seating outside is into a path for pedestrians. Not the best place to sit but indoor...
