My Lollipop Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Athens

We recently visited this establishment and had mixed feelings. I would like to mention the waitress Dina – she is simply the best! She is professional, attentive and incredibly friendly. Dina made our evening much more enjoyable and it is clear that she really cares about her guests. However, the establishment’s policy leaves much to be desired. We had an unpleasant moment with payment – ​​it turned out that they do not accept coins of a certain denomination (red coins), although no one warns about this in advance, and they are accepted everywhere else. When we tried to pay with them, we were unexpectedly refused, which created an awkward situation. It would be great if the administration warned about this at the entrance or at least in the menu. Definitely not worth visiting. My experience is based on a Saturday night visit. The staff showed us to a VIP table, which had nothing of VIP apart from being next to the DJ. Ordered 8 cocktails from the menu provided just to have the waitress telling us that they couldn't make those cocktails because they were too busy and the service was limited to 'simple cocktails". After saying we were leaving, the waitress came back confirming they will be able to make the cocktails ordered. What arrived was not much more than a lot of water mixed with a tiny bit of alcohol definitely not worth the 10€ asked for that. Very bad service, rude staff. The only good thing about the place is the DJ the rest is not...

The place looks good from far but the service is really slow. The funny thing that everyone is the table must order something and the funny thing is that the waiter said “I don’t care if one of your friends order 2 things but I must have 7 orders/items for 7 people.” So we left unsatisfied. I asked the guy who is responsible on doing the shisha what does he recommend he said just look at the things in many and choose.
