The food was mediocre , the server Joanna was terrible, she was very unprofessional, should not be in the service industry. The place is nice with seating facing the acropolis. But the service was terrible, the empty plates stayed on the table for a while. Additionally they charge you for water and bread even if you didn't order it. EDIT: Lol as you can see based on the response from the owner/manager we see where the problem is. First your server did not ask if we wanted still or sparkling water, she put the water without even saying anything. When we asked her about it when the bill came through her response was "everybody drinks water", we are not asking who drinks water, we asked why this was not mentioned lol. (I recorded the conversation as well so I have audio of it accidentally) Second, your server didn't even notify us about the dip, or if there are any costs to it because she never disclosed the information from the beginning, and this is the whole point of the review in case you missed it (the service and the info disclosure) clearly the comprehension level here is lacking. Your server additionally was not friendly to our table from the beginning and lacked customer service, even when we asked her what she recommends, her responses were non chalant. So yes humans do mistakes but with your response I'm gonna laugh at the so called human mistakes 🤣

Your servers attitude and your response proves all we know about our experience in the restaurant, and if you "Read" , which you clearly did not , I did not bash the restaurant or the food, but your service was less than subpar, so do me a favor and work on your customer service skills starting from you. There are wonderful classes on coursera, and you can recommend it for your...

Extraordinary! For our last night in Greece, we were hesitant to have a 14th day of Greek food. While walking through Athens, to the Flea Markets, we happened across Mystilli. The hostess caught our eye from afar. Clearly loving her job as she danced with a big smile, to the live music playing. As we approached, the live music and atmosphere (Acropolis backdrop) captivated us. Irene, the hostess, was quick to spot our interest and handed us a card and spoke the key words “Grandmas cooking” before we dismissed the lure. As we were meandering around the Flea Market, we realized that Mystilli was “calling to us”, so to speak. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. My husband and I agreed that this was by far the best Greek food we had the entire vacation. It started with the Greek salad. Not just another Greek salad, although we do love Greek salad and had it every day. This Greek salad was adorned with kritamo, capers and delicious carob dako. Very nice touch. Make sure to get the Mussels appetizer. It was mouth watering, bowl licking good. My husband got the Klefiko (tender, slow cooked leg of lamb). Recognizable by the parchment paper it is cooked in. I got the traditional pasta with minced meat. We loved everything and left very full and it didn’t even break the bank. Very reasonable prices. In addition to the food being incredible, our waitress was excellent. Very attentive. Food came out in a timely manner, our water glasses were always filled and questions were answered. Did I mention the live Greek music. It was superb! What a way to end our trip to Greece. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back! Mahalo from your new fans...

The location is good with a view of the Acropolis. Upon entering, we were politely invited and offered a table. I was with the children. We ordered 4 dishes. Grilled chicken souvlaki, the dish was delicious. The portion is large, it looks like French fries and chicken kebab, plus sauce with pita bread. And then complete disappointment. My son ordered pasta with mussels and shrimp and was disappointed with its taste. The shrimps were not cleaned. We also ordered Saganaki shrimps and were also disappointed, they were 5 unpeeled shrimps covered in tomato and feta sauce. If the sauce was served separately, then I would still understand, but it is very inconvenient to clean them from the scales when they are in the sauce. The last dish is fish with vegetables, where the stewed vegetables are good, but the fish smelled like it was not fresh and I was just afraid to eat it so as not to get poisoned. Therefore, unfortunately, the evening was slightly spoiled by such a dinner...

A beautiful atmosphere experiencing the Plaka area. Mainly due to Irenè, the friendly front of house who made us feel so welcome, considering it’s such a busy place with a large turnover of customers she made us feel very important with the perfect balance of enticing, whereas a lot or of her male competitors were hard sell and somewhat annoying. Irenè was lovely and gave us no pressure. Our family of four had 3 cocktails, one beer, 3 starters and 4 main, and it came to €160, which I thought was reasonable considering where we were, the souvlaki, moussaka and kleftiko was amazing, the quality was excellent. The bread maybe wasn’t needed and was €2 per person, but we were given the option so it was our choice and not just shoved on the table like some restaurants. Live music from 7pm which created a relaxing , buzzing vibe. Would thoroughly recommend

The restaurant is located in a good place. A view To Acropolis. In the evenings they play Greek national music, that's why we stopped and chose this restaurant. The Atmosphere is extraordinary, very friendly and competent cooperation. This is the first location we stopped at when we arrived in Athens and it was truly Great. There are delicious foods- Greek national, as well as very good beer(local). We also tried the local drink Mastic, but it turned out to be too sweet, If you like sweet drink that you like to taste. There is a wide selection of dishes, both vegetarian and meat and fish. Also they gifted us dessert greek yogurt which was so so delicious ❤️🥰Price is very affordable. Thank you Ioanna for the amazing hospitality. ✅My recommendation
