(Theseus)
Origins
English: Theseus was a legendary king and hero of Athens in Greek mythology. His father is usually considered King Aegeus of Athens, though some traditions claim that Poseidon, god of the sea, was his father. His mother was Aethra, princess of Troezen. Thus, Theseus had both royal lineage and possibly divine parentage.
