Our stay in Ivis 4 was amazing! Before arriving, the hotel staff contacted us to help arrange airport pickup/transfer, held our luggage while we explored the city, and then even helped us check-in early at no cost! The hotel staff from the front desk to the bar/kitchen were all amazingly friendly and welcoming!
The rooms are incredibly updated, spacious, and modern. We booked a Superior room which came with a king sized bed, blackout curtains, coffee machine, and free wifi.
The breakfast was undoubtedly the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel (and it was complimentary with our stay)! This is better than most breakfast restaurants around that we'd normally pay for! We had omelettes, fried eggs, charcuterie board, and french toast. Also with some freshly squeezed orange juice! And of course, the Greek coffee here was no joke either!
Location-wise, Ivis4 is about a 5 minute walk from Monastiraki Square - which is ideal for any nightlife, food, souvenir shopping, etc. We found the nighttime noise not disturbing as we are used to living in the downtown city area. It's also nearby (2) very highly rated dessert/sweets cafes in Fairytale and Little Kook.
Thank you Ivis4 staff for adding to the experience of our...
Read moreHad a great one-night stay at the Ivis 4, we had two rooms. One was the Art with a Twist suite (301) and one was the Live Forever suite (202). Both rooms had a comfortable king bed and also a sofa that could be made up into a single bed, and both rooms had a patio. The rooms were quite large, especially compared to typical European rooms. The only real difference was that the Art with a Twist suite had a very large outdoor balcony and the Live Forever suite had a relatively small outdoor balcony, and the Art with a Twist suite had a few more premium items in the bath. We had a rate that included breakfast and it was the most extensive and nicest we had in our two weeks in Greece. it was a la carte and ht menu included omelets, eggs cooked to order, french toast, fruit plate, yogurt w granola, bread basket with jams, fresh squeezed orange juice, and other choices as well. Not a greek breakfast per se, but everything was wonderful and cooked/made to order. Check in was quick and the front desk was very helpful. They also helped coordinate with the airline that had lost our luggage. The neighborhood is great and close to Monastiraki square. We would definitely...
Read moreWe had a fantastic 4-night stay in the sleek, modern and new Ivis4 Boutique hotel. We were in room 401 with a large patio, spacious room, sitting area and large modern bathroom with a great rain shower. ||With only 14 rooms set over a 5-floor building, this is boutique with a capital B. We loved the neighborhood (Psirri) with dozens of fun, stylish restaurants on a street just around the corner (3- min walk) and the eclectic flea market that lines the streetscape on sundays.||Breakfast was included with our room and was available in the ground floor restaurant by ordering off the menu-whatever you wanted. Another great perk is that they will do laundry for 8€ -PER BAG! not per item as is common across Europe-with 24-hour turnaround.||Minor complaints: the AC temp is regulated by front desk so you can’t really control it on your own below 23 C.||Overall a wonderful spot and away from the tacky plaka neighborhood yet only 20 minute walk to acropolis and other highlights. I’d stay here without hesitation on a future visit to Athens.||Cudos also to the friendly English-speaking stay (especially Helen at front desk) for help with transport, advice and...
