Read moreI had read about the restaurant in a magazine and checked several online reviews before booking the large Valentine's menu, so we had high expectations for a special evening. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Out of the eleven dishes, only two stood out as coherent and enjoyable; the rest either lacked flavor or had overpowering notes of saffron or orange. At times, we found ourselves wondering whether the kitchen had tasted the food before serving it, especially with the heart dish, which was particularly confusing.
What further detracted from the evening was the rushed pace. The eleven courses were served within a mere two hours, leaving little room for the leisurely fine-dining experience we had hoped for. To make matters worse, we were asked to finish our wine at the bar and clear our table, which was a disappointing end to the evening. Given the price, the quality of the food felt far below what we had expected.
While the service was polite and attentive, it was clear that no amount of effort could compensate for the shortcomings in the kitchen. Sadly, this was more of an amateur dining experience than the fine dining we had anticipated. Regrettably, we won’t be returning, and I would not recommend...
Read moreI would like to leave a review for this fantastic new restaurant, which sits on top of the Museum of contemporary Art in Athens. My wife and I visited the rooftop restaurant in order to have a glass of wine and a little meze'. Little did we know that we are in for a culinary treat. The place wasn’t too busy especially inside, so we had a lot of attention from the maitre d, and the rest of the staff . The wine selection is excellent, full of very good Greek wines. I believe we tried three different ones , all dry , all fantastic .
This is a fine dining restaurant, and it comes with a fine dining price tag . We didn’t mind though as it was an unexpected treat. In quite a few fine dining places around the world, a lot of the information regarding the food that is being presented to you, gets lost as English is usually not the servers first language . But these guys were on a different level; everything that they presented was fully explained to every single ingredient.
I wish them all the best as it’s a new restaurant . If you’d like to experience something different with undisturbed, immaculate views of the Parthenon I suggest you visit this restaurant. George, Konstantinos and rest of team, you’ll be seeing...
