Omikron 2 — Restaurant in Athens

We went to this bar a bit late but still.. this is how it goes. We were 6 peoples at 1h30 and used to come in this place in the past. Expecting enjoying the roof top the for lady told us that for entrance is bottle only, we agreed as it was supposed to be for everyone in the club. However coming up we saw only glasses on every table and realized that the lady took us for tourists. We asked for glasses that was refused as we agreed for a bottle to come in. We called the manager to attempt explaining the situation, the reaction was rude and impossible to talk with as we get for reply "take a bottle or go out!". Worst bar, the music was bad, the floor on the Latin night was sticky and the staff did not do anything in advance to make the floor good for dancing. The worst part is people were smoking in the bar, which in my opinion as a dancer is most worst and stupid thing to do, because you allowing to inhale the vape of smoke, after dancing when you need a fresh air, this doesn't happen anywhere where dancing parties happened. Even most stupid and ridiculous, act was not putting the wet floor sign when after mobbing the floor, not even on stairs and on the dancefloor, you people are literally playing the lives of people. Have some common sense and get your act...

A hidden gem in the Gazi area of Athens. The rooftop bar and dance stage of Omikron2 is a great summer in the city nights escape! The bartenders know how to make great cocktails. The prices are somewhat reasonable, 10 euros for a regular drink, 12 euros for a cocktail. The space is nicely decorated and lit.
