If this place was called ‘Slow motion Pitta’ or ‘The place where time stands still’, it would then be accurate and worthy of a few stars. They are anything but ‘Quick’ and the service is simply horrific.
We waited several minutes to be given a table before simply telling one of the wandering staff we were going to take one of the tables in the outside area - “yes, yes, I’ll bring some menus out”.
10 minutes later, nothing; no water, no menus.
We went inside and got menus ourselves and then after another 15 minutes past, we asked a passing waiter if we could order. They said yes, but disappeared and 5 minutes later I asked another staff member walking by the same question - they too said yes, but wandered off.
After another few minutes, the original person who said they’d bring menus took our order - a miracle had occurred!
5 minutes later we were the lucky recipients of a bottle of water and, given it’d been over near half an hr since arriving at this professional establishment, it was the best damn water I’d ever tasted!
A salad was brought to our table that we shared and it was fantastic - but each of our main meals didn’t arrive for another 25 minutes or so (!!) to the point where we almost paid for the salad and left.
A similar circus unfolded when we asked if we could settle the bill. We’d played this game before so we went inside to pay instead. From here it was as if no one wanted our money as we stood there like morons trying to be served.
Eventually we paid, but nothing was complimentary despite what we’d endured and we left completely bemused.
Good food, IF it arrives, IF...
Read moreVery very bad and not tasty at all. Worst service I've ever experienced in Greece. Waitress was extremely rude and was making weird noises towards me and my family for us being critical of their "food"
Editing this review since there's an answer from owner right now which states that the whole thing was written with malicious intent which is an absolute lie. (You can also read other people's bad reviews that state similar to my experiences)
So, we came to this restaurant with good intent in order to try "one of the best gyros" pita in Athens.
What was served was not gyros in pita with mustard and tzatziki sauces, it was more like cheap, tasteless and dry 7/11 wrap.(They forgot to add any sauces to the pita) It is not what you expect to get from restaurant that specializes in gyros.
Service is a whole another story, waitress that was serving our tasteless, dry chicken, no sauces "gyros" was incredibly rude. When we stated our concerns regarding the taste and the looks of this "gyros", the only thing she did was trying to blame ourselves for the choice even though I showed her that it had no sauces and looked very different from what we asked for in the first place. (Showed her a bunch of photos of an actual gyros and she said it'll be same)
The last thing that drove me absolutely nuts, she just started showing off her annoyance with me being critical of that "gyros" and started making weird noises towards me and my family.
I highly recommend to never visit this place if you want good food or emotions. Absolutely worst food place I've been...

The initial reaction was downright rude, and we were left waiting without acknowledgment until a waitress finally told us we had to place our orders at the register—a detail that could have been communicated far more politely and promptly.
When the drinks did arrive, they were served in plastic cups. At a venue that clearly wants to present itself as more than a fast food joint, this felt cheap and disappointing.
We also ordered a kebab and the classic gyros. Both were reasonably tasty—nothing to complain about in terms of flavor, but also nothing remarkable enough to justify a return visit.
What left the worst impression, however, was the behavior of the manager or owner. As a mixed-race couple, we couldn’t ignore the subtle but undeniable air of hostility—cold mannerisms, unpleasant stares, and a general sense of being unwelcome. To give the benefit of the doubt, perhaps the friendliness is reserved only for those ordering full meals, which seems absurd at a place called Quick Pitta. Worse still, I was passed over at the register after waiting, only for the cashier to serve the next white customer who walked up.
It’s the small things that speak volumes.
My advice: if you must try it, grab a takeaway snack and be on your way. Don’t expect warmth—or respect—if you’re not what they’re...
