We didn't know it wasn't traditional moussaka, but the Turkish style with tomato and little or no bechamel sauce. While it was still nice and the portion size was generous, it's just not mossaka for us. *Note after owners comment* The owner claims this is a typical moussaka. This is my 6th time in Greece, I've been to the mainland before and the islands. This isn't typical moussaka. For information purposes, I've included four pictures of moussaka I've had on this trip. When you look moussaka with tomoato, it comes with this: What is the difference between Turkish and Greek moussaka? What is the difference between Turkish and Greek Moussaka? Greek Moussaka is made with layers of aubergine and/or potatoes, tomatoey meat sauce, and then finished with a layer of cheesy béchamel sauce. Turkish Musakka has only layers of aubergine and tomatoey meat sauce with no béchamel sauce added. While Moussaka is Greek, variants do exist. Like this one with tomato sauce (for some reason). *Original resumes* Aside from that, the Dolma and stuffed peppers were nice. Greek salad was fine, but could've done with the cucumbers pealed and less oil (very minor gripes that), was still tasty. Service was quick, staff pleasant, good views, reasonable prices. They did provide olives and free fruit, which was a nice addition on their part. In short, if you don't want to have a traditional moussaka, then they do everything else well. I've had many a moussaka and each one varies some what and I don't mind changing up a recipe, but that wasn't for us.

Today marks 2 weeks since we had 2 successive lovely nights dining at Phivos. The staff at this restaurant welcomed us in, & led us though to their expansive open sided covered terrace dining area - that has amazing views out across the rooftops and down into the valley looking all the way down to the coast towns of Itea, Kirra & Galaxidi on the Gulf of Corinth. We liked it so much we chose the same table both nights! The head waitress was very friendly (& spoke excellent English) and together with her daughter they made our family very welcome, as did the whole atmosphere. The food was excellent - very tasty, & good proportioned servings. Wholeheartedly recommend and we would definitely go again.

This place is simply fabulous in every way. The waittress was truly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, and professional. She anticipated our every need - and we were a party of seven! The menu was extensive with all the traditional Greek favorites everyone wants and, even better, locally sourced specialties that were some of the best food we had on our entire trip. Ignore that earlier review - I don't know what bee was in their bonnets, but they are seriously mistaken. My pops had the seabass on the same day as that review and absolutely loved it! Simply put, GO THERE. We ate lunch and dinner here and wished we had time for more. THE BEST!

I loved this restaurant so much I ate there my entire 2-day stay in Delfi. I chose to go here because the owner was so nice and WELCOMING. He was genuinely calm and just really nice. The older server was amazing, the young girl, though she needs a little work and some energy. Perhaps for her when clearing the table to use a big tray to carry things , it saves time trips and energy. The food was obviously amazing, so good and tasty. I ate there and ordered some to take away. The wild bora dish was good and filling. The chicken in wine sause is delicious. The decor and vibe was nice I would totally visit again.

Went here for a late lunch after driving from Kastraki. The cheese and olives with bread was very yummy. Much of the table got the lamb cleftica and said it was delicious. It comes out on a plate wrapped in parchment paper with stewed potatoes. Three of us shared dolmas, the eggplant salad, and the tiropita. Their tiropita is quite possibly one of the best tiropitas I have ever eaten! It is more rustic, homemade filo, and the most flavorful cheese filling. The eggplant salad was a good mix of eggplant, peppers, and seasoning- try it. Go here for some lovely food with a beautiful view and delightful staff.

The food was fantastic and prices where very reasonable. Very authentic Greek food. We had moussaka - very delicious - (more tomatoey than most, however, I quite liked it), "mix" omelette - filled with vegetables, ham and cheese, lemonato pork - so tender and luscious, speg Neapolitana - simple but very tasty. The calamaria and horiatiki salata to start was fresh and very delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. The fruit platter, offered by the house, was a lovely finish and so refreshing. To top it all off, a fabulous view and entirely under cover. A wonderful conclusion to our day in Delphi.
