Aparto Bistro • Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Kavala Municipality

We were 3 on wednesday night, it was really hot with 30 degrees at 22h so we were searching for an indoor seating and found out that this restaurant has a closed terrace with air conditioning :) We entered and obviously there was a special evening with a menu (formule) but the floor manager let us sit and brought us the menu to choose from (à la carte). The ambiance was so nice with the music (greek and english). The menu is so rich with many breakfast options as well not only for lunch and dinner and drinks. To start with, we ordered green salad with chicken and mesclun salad. As main dishes, we chose the one with chicken rolls and nuts and the other was pork steaks with peanut sauce. And for desserts, mille feuille and profiterole. These 6 plates costed 46€. This chicken roll dish was the most delicious plate I had in my whole life :) and I will never forget this! 5 stars are not enough for this restaurant in my opinion. Best value for money and true restaurant quality on the seafront. Our family of 5 had early dinner / late Greek lunch here. The chicken was a nice surprise - instead of a fryied fillet, my husband got an amazing 3 pieces of succulent chicken breast, cooked to sizzling perfection - nice and tender. The beef orzo was well-cooked and a large portion. The mushroom risotto was with real mushrooms and well worth the wait. My son disn’t manage to eat all the tagliatelle with pesto and we got a takeaway. And the burger was a gourmet version - very nice! The beer and eine list was good - I’ve come to like the demi-sweet local red wines you can get by glass or pitcher here. Fresh orange juice was really fresh. The local mediterranean salad was ok, I wish they’d had a simple Greek salad on the menu, though. We highly recommend this place compared to the nearby ones, it’s real restaurant quality. This restaurant was absolutely delicious. We came around 10:30 in the morning and got the waffles, bacon and egg breakfast, and cheese toast. The waffles were by far the best thing we got. They came with a delicious caramel syrup unlike anything I have ever had before and I would highly recommend trying them. Everything was so reasonably priced and the portions were perfect. The only thing I have to complain about is the bacon. It was colder and closer to spam than actual bacon. Other than this minor detail this bistro...
