Avoid the place if you are looking for seafood (like I was). I ordered fresh octopus and they brought it half burnt and gummy. Check the photo, it was not glazed, that is burnt. And you have almost nothing on the plate (compared to other places). I didn't eat it, I sent it back to the kitchen and it didn't appear on the receipt, as expected. I then ordered a risotto, it was normal, apart from the fact that it was full of oil, the plate was actually sunk in oil, I don’t know why. The portion was normal-big.
I eat seafood and risotto almost weekly and have never had risotto buried in oil like that. As for seafood, there are other better places that you can try: Το Αραλίκι, Naypigeion, Mermaids and Guys. My partner took a burger, the meat had a strange not fresh taste, but he didn't send it back because he was hungry, FYI: the burger is disassembled, on the plate. The staff was normal, polite and helpful, but I go to a restaurant for food and for us it was 1 star.
Edit after their answer: It was burned and gummy, but it is easier to put the fault on the customer instead of accepting your mistakes. The “burger” had a strange bad taste and don’t act like nobody eats better burgers, you made it bad, it is that simple. As for the risotto, I aplaud the superiority that you want to achieve, but I know what it is, this is why I ordered it, after an horrible food to have a safe choice. You don’t know how much oil is enough in the portion in order to not have oil in half of your mouth. :) I don’t mind to take the blame if in this way you think people would believe you instead of me, a customer who went there hoping to have good food. If my food would have been good, you would have 5 stars not 1. The octopus was so good that with no reason I decided to give it back, right? Even the waiter said it is burned and to not worry because it is obvious a mistake. I am truly sorry to disappoint you...

Sometimes the stars align just perfectly to experience one of "Those" moments. And somehow a wild thought comes to your mind, "Huh, is this what they call a human experience?". In my case it was a perfect combination of a juicy medium rare Black angus beef tagliata with grilled potatoes & mushrooms paired with local red Merlo, Estate Oenogenesis, Deka. Truly, these local wines will give the run for their money to any French wine label "Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée". And let's top it off with an orange pie with a crown of goat icecream on top. And then it hits you... all the senses come into equilibrium, the smells, the taste, the Sirtaky playing in the background from the boats, the company, the commitment of the host and the staff. An ambrosia moment, when you melt away and you become The Moment. Best wishes to the host Juanis and his staff. Thank you guys for the...
Read moreVouka was a wonderful place to eat at. The view was very nice and the food was very good. There was a lot of creativity and presentation that went on to the plate. The taste and recipes were delicious. We had a lot of mezzo and 2 main courses all for only 61 euros, including a 10 Euro tip. What a bargain. At the end of the meal they then brought us watermelon and honeydew on the house. The staff was very good and friendly and I tipped 20 percent on my total bill of 51 Euros. The server had come back questioning if I meant to give him so much. My reply was, if I could help someone out a little extra and help change their life, mine wouldn't change any and so yes the tip is all for you. To my fellow diners, I ask you to help pay it forward like I do and have some compassion to your servers if you get good food and service. Please help...
