We wanted to eat something else instead of the typical local food and we found this beautiful small restaurant. We ate a salad, a deep fried cheese trio, a veggie burger and a steak burger. The salad was really good, the cheese trio was perfectly fried, crunchy and tasty with a good chutney that gave the perfect contrast. The veggie burger was also very good. The steak burger was PERFECT: soft bun, tasty truffle mayonnaise and perfectly grilled meat (medium-rare as requested). I saw some amazing steaks being delivered to other table and I wish I could stay here longer to eat at Charcoal again. Nice atmosphere and kind server. Went there for dinner with my family (wife, 1 boy, 1 baby). Place is nicely situated in the old town of Kavala. No traffic there, so nice for the kids to play around.

Food was excellent (10/10). Had 1kg T-Bone medium-rare. Chef did a great job.

Service was also excellent (10/10), very welcoming and aware staff.

Prices are from my perspective too low for the quality you get. Hope they will have plenty of customers in future since this is the only place in Kavala to enjoy a great beef steak.

Tucked away in Kavala, this restaurant is a true hidden gem. It's easily one of the best places to eat in the city, and the prices are surprisingly low for the quality.

The dishes have a level of care and flavor that you'd expect from a much more expensive place, without the high cost. Each plate is beautifully presented, showing a real passion for the food.
