SeaView Kitchen Bar — Restaurant in Kavala Municipality

We booked a table for 8 people hoping that we will enjoy as a last night holiday in kavala, the lady that called herself “the manager” seemed to be a bit nasty and not trained enough. We were all dissapointed in the quality of food: “fresh french fries” that the majority of us ordered were left in the plate as were undercooked and absolutely not edible. Explained to the waitress the issue and her excuse was “we don’t have other types of fries” is not about the type of fries is about the time and temperature that should be cooked. We rang before we turned up. We asked about the sushi and we’ve been told “we don’t serve sushi during the week days apart from Tuesdays but the rest of the menu is available” fair enough. Wanted to order some shrimps same excuse only Tuesday. Didn’t knew that shrimps are”undercover” sushi 🤷🏻‍♀️ Same thing when we wanted to order some rice, noodles and other stuff from the menu. So the reality was different from what we’ve been told. After all this issues that waitress never missed a chance to answer back to us in a nasty manner also huffing and puffing around rolling her eyes. Advice for the manager/owner or whatever. Offer your staff some trainings and teach them how to communicate in a nice manner with your customers otherwise you going to lose some 💶‘s. Take it as a friendly advice. Won’t...

never going again. they asked us if we would be drinking or eating, we said both and they gave us the tiniest table … like why bother asking? 🤣 mind you we were three people. we sat down and they came to take our order probably about 40 minutes later and we had to ask someone to come a million times, most of the times they didnt even look at us. plus the place was mostly empty especially by the time we arrived. i also saw some people who came after us and got served before we even ordered. it’s really a joke. when we ordered, our salad and fires came out two second later, fries were cold, they had been sitting 5-10 minutes for sure. then our food didnt fit the tiny table, of course. it was their smallest table. and the rest of the food was pretty mediocre as well. especially for the price. just terrible overall. avoid...

Καθίσαμε γιατί είδαμε όμορφο χώρο και το μενού μας φάνηκε ενδιαφέρον. Μέχρι εδώ τα καλά. Στο μενού που μας έδωσαν όταν καθίσαμε, αναφέρεται ένα Asian Gourmet Night, το οποίο γίνεται -μόνο- κάθε Τρίτη. Σεβαστό αυτό, αλλά γιατί υπάρχει μέσα στον κατάλογο μόνιμα; Θα έπρεπε να βγει απο τον κύριο κατάλογο και κάθε Τρίτη να δίνουν τον έξτρα κατάλογο του Asian Night, ώστε να αποφευχθούν παρεξηγήσεις. Παραυτά, επειδή ήταν Δευτέρα, έτρεχε ένα άλλο ασιατικό μενού, τύπου Ταϋλανδέζικο. Όταν ψιλοπαραπονεθήκαμε που το ασιατικό μενού λείπει, μιας και είναι Δευτέρα, μας είπανε ότι μπορούμε να διαλέξουμε από το Thai μενού. Είχε 3 διαφορετικές σαλάτες· παραγγείλαμε μια, την οποία δεν είχαν. Ζητήσαμε να μας φέρουν μια από τις άλλες δυο σαλάτες. Τότε μάθαμε ότι δεν είχαν ούτε την άλλη. Από τις 3 σαλάτες του Thai menu, είχανε τη μια. Fail. Τα ορεκτικά, δε, του μενού... ήταν BBQ wings & ribs, spring rolls & samosas, που καμία σχέση δεν έχουν με Thai. Και τα κυρίως πιάτα είχαν ΟΛΑ ρύζι. Ούτε μισό πιάτο με noodle ή κάτι άλλο! Ρύζι, που το μόνο που άλλαζε μεταξύ των πιάτων, ήταν η σάλτσα. Κακήν κάκως, παραγγείλαμε. Η σαλάτα (αυτή η μια και μοναδική που υπήρχε από τον κατάλογο) ήρθε μέσα σε -1- λεπτό από την παραγγελία· ξεκάθαρα έτοιμη ήδη και ποιος ξέρει πόση ώρα καθόταν πριν έρθει στο τραπέζι μας; Ήρθε και μια μύγα πάνω, για παρέα, η οποία μύγα δεν ήθελε να φύγει από το πιάτο, παρά τις προσπάθειές μας. Ήρθαν κι άλλες μετά. Στο τέλος συμφιλιωθήκαμε με τις μύγες. Πιάτα για να φάμε δεν μας έφεραν· άρχισαν να έρχονται τα φαγητά που παραγγείλαμε αλλά πιάτα για να βάλουμε μπροστάς μας να τρώμε έπρεπε να τα ζητήσουμε... και τα ζητήσαμε από την κοπέλα στην υποδοχή, καθώς περνούσε, που φανταστήκαμε θα ενημέρωνε κάποιον από το σέρβις για να μας φέρουν, αλλά ανταυτού, μας τα έφερε η ίδια; Τι δουλεία έχει -η υποδοχή- να φέρνει πιάτα, που τόση ώρα έπιανε και ξαναέπιανε το stand της με τα χέρια; Το φαγητό, εν τέλει, μετριότατο, με εξαίρεση την σαλάτα. Οι τιμές ήταν εντάξει. Πραγματικά, κρίμα, γιατί είναι όμορφο, σε εύκολη...
