We had an absolutely amazing experience at The Godsfish of Kyra-Maria restaurant in Kavala. Lefteris, one of the owners of this charming family restaurant, truly went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. The level of service we received was exceptional - Lefteris' dedication to ensuring our satisfaction was evident in every detail.

Not only did we enjoy mouthwatering dishes that showcased the culinary excellence of the restaurant, but Lefteris also surprised us with a delightful dessert that perfectly rounded off our meal. It's not every day that you come across such personalized and attentive service.

The food itself was top-notch, exceeding all expectations. The flavors were rich and authentic, a true testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality. And the best part? The prices were incredibly reasonable, making it an even more attractive option.

Animal cruelty!

I recently passed by this restaurant and was shocked by the appalling conditions of the turtles in their small pond. Yesterday, the water level was so high that the turtles had no rocks or surfaces to rest on, leaving them struggling to stay afloat. Today, the situation was even worse. The pond was almost completely dry, leaving the turtles exposed to the scorching 38°C summer sun. Some of the turtles were already dead, and the remaining ones appeared to be on the brink of death.

This lack of care and responsibility for the welfare of these animals is deeply concerning and unacceptable. I urge the management to address this issue immediately and ensure that the turtles are provided with a safe and suitable environment. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who cares about...

While the food was decent, as well as the portions, there were quite some things lacking. The service and the manager tried to seem friendly but it was a bit too obvious how the demeanour changed once we actually sat down. The menu in english had few details, several options were in greek with no mention of what they might have been. We got food we didn't order, food we did order but it was actually wrong, as items on the menu had the same name yet were utterly different and when we questioned these aspects they were highly unprofessional in the explanation. I asked for one course, i was told they were out of the prime ingredient, only to see other people, who sat down later, receive it. Rather disappointing first greek restaurant experience...
