Comidoro — Restaurant in Lixouri Municipality

We had an exceptional experience here. The food quality was unexpected and familiar. It was so good I questioned whether the chef had some sort of international training because it was very modern cuisine and reminded me of home but with a very Kefallonian twist. Some of us had the Keffallonian Meat Pie Risotto and I haven't been able to eat it since I became gluten intolerant. This version of it was 100% authentic in flavour without the pastry. And the feta mousse - wow and yum. The flavours of the meat pie, feta and mint were an extraordinary combination. I have no doubt with the pita chips it was also fabulous. How delicious! The kids had Chicken Burger and the Pork Chops and these were exceptional in flavour and size. Their Comidoro salad was unique and very tasty. The surprise was the double cooked chips with oregano. I'm so glad I ordered extra. I want to thank the chef for an amazing meal. Nothing else has compared with this one and I will always remember it. I also want to thank the service staff, particularly the female staff member who took our order. You will not regret coming here in fact you'll miss out if you don't visit. If we can come again before we leave, we will. Thank you again and keep being different in a town that is traditional in its food...

We visited this place for lunch in September and it was horrible, a total SHAME. Initially they didn't have any of the dishes that we asked for. Finally we ordered a meal that included octopus with a very fancy name and a high price and we received a supermarket bought octopus can!! The greek salad lacked even a teaspoon of olive oil. The omelette (kayanas) was unthinkably plain. The prices were CRAZY in comparison with what we got. We ordered dishes described as gourmet, we got supermarket food of the lowest quality, and payed like we were in a Michelin star restaurant!! I have seen the other positive reviews, but obviously they completely change their services once the heavy touristy period is over. The whole atmosphere screamed...

We had an absolutely amazing time at Comidoro! The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Our loungers were right on the beach with our toes in the sand and the sound of waves in the background. The atmosphere was relaxed and effortless, exactly what we needed.

We had burgers and beers right on the beach, then finished off with cocktails at the restaurant. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. The drinks were cold and refreshing, and the burgers were juicy and delicious with fresh herbs.
