TAVERNA — Restaurant in Meteora Municipality

I felt the food is priced about an euro more than the ones comparable taverna in Athens. It could be because of the transportation of the material we have to pay. The taste of the food is also different compared to the ones in Athens which I think it is just the difference between where you are. No pita bread available at the restaurant.

We weren’t originally planning to eat here, but we are VERY GLAD that we did!! The waiters were extremely pleasant. The food came VERY quickly! The beets with garlic were delightful and refreshing. Very nice place BUT..we ordered 3 different meals and it comes totally the same. Just baked Dry meat with some fries for 9,50 is very poor I think. Maybe next time it should content some vegetable, or ask for some souce. We like animals but when they are everywhere around and you want to feed them, the service will shout...
