There is currently a heat wave in Europe. Therefore, we called a head of time to ask if they had an air conditioned seating area. They assured us they did indeed have a closed ACed area and it was perfectly cool there. After we arrived we discovered the indoor area was actually very hot- I estimate it was around 30-32 C inside and many guests looked hot and fanned themselves with whatever they had at hand! There were no additional fans or anything. In attempt to save our outing we figured a dip in the sea could help- only to be informed that one has to exit the place, walk around the building in the sun and then pay to enter the sea! We left pretty much immediately but of course our misfortune did not end there. We discovered that our tire was flat in the parking lot and in the the 40 C heat we had to change the tire. The three valet guys working there stood 1 m in front of us and offered us no help. It was thanks to a random stranger that helped us we were able to get on our way. So, all in all, I recommend Nalu be honest next time. If you are unable to keep a cool temperature inside due to whatever reason- just BE HONEST about it. Also, helping customers out in the parking lot should they have car trouble...

We visited Nalu Beach Club in Athens—my girlfriend, her friend, and I—after hearing great things and were really looking forward to it. The venue is stunning and the host was welcoming, so our hopes were high, even after a $25 taxi ride in heavy traffic.
Unfortunately, things fell apart when we asked for a simple gluten-free accommodation: a burger without the bun, due to a genuine allergy. Despite explaining the medical need, the staff—waiter, manager, and chef—said it wasn’t possible, and their reaction felt dismissive and unprofessional.
We’ve traveled around Greece for weeks and never had an issue like this, even at top restaurants. It was disappointing, especially since we were excited to settle in for a nice meal together. We ended up leaving and finding a more accommodating spot nearby.
Nalu Beach Club is a beautiful place, but I hope the team can learn from this and become more understanding and flexible with guests’ needs...
Read moreI was with my husband on the 29th of April for lunch and we loved the ambiance, the food was tasty, and the view is wonderful. However, there was a rather unpleasant incident. We tried to exit through the beach side just to take some photos and were informed by the hostess who ran towards us that the area was private. We didn't know, as in our country the beach is public, but we understood and headed towards the exit. However, I asked the same hostess how we could access the private area and she turned her back on us and rudely replied that she didn't know. This is not the appropriate treatment for customers, especially for us as tourists. I hope the company trains its employees better and that this type of incident does not happen again. We found out that access to the beach is through an entrance on the right side of the restaurant and costs €8 per person (extra payment for sunbeds). And on the left side of the restaurant, there is a beach that can be...
