EARTH CAFE — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Food was ok, I’m quite disappointed with the waitress 04.10.2021 at around 21:30-22:00 she was disrespectful and obnoxious.

Here is what happened: I ordered pull pork burger(Tennessee) and my GF ordered a wrap. When I got it I was a bit surprised by how it looked. I was wondering if that’s really pulled pork cause it looked nothing like the pulled pork I ate before - basically there were three stripes of meat or whatever you call it when I expected pulled unstructured pieces of meat.

I asked the waiter nicely if this is for sure pulled pork. She mumbled something like “yes pulled pork Tennessee”.

Then went to the kitchen and I could hear her repeating my question to the chef and other waiter, doing voices and basically laughing at me. So yeah... me and my girlfriend were not to happy at this moment but we let it slide.

My GF wanted somethings warm and she ordered a wrap thinking that it would be warm (our bad not to clarify before - they are served cold... with cheddar cheese) and I asked nicely if we could have it warmed up. The same waiter rudely said that this is how it goes... AND AGAIN WENT TO KITCHEN TO MAKE FUN OF US and repeated my question to other employees.

I also worked in a kitchen and I get that she was tired and my questions could have annoyed her.

But she was also rude, unhelpful and directly disrespectful.

On the other note: food was okay but not amazing. You can find a better price to value ratio for sure. As mentioned in other reviews the popularity mostly comes...

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the behaviour of the employees at your café. My friend and I were simply taking an evening walk during our holiday in Corfu last summer when we decided to stop in front of your café. However, we were met with hostility and disrespect from three of your workers, one male and two females.

We noticed that the employees were staring and whispering amongst themselves. Their behaviour made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. To make matters worse, they began to laugh at us, it felt like this was racism towards my friend as many people know Greece is full of it.

I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and respect shown by your employees. It is unacceptable for anyone to be subjected to such treatment, especially when they are simply trying to enjoy a peaceful evening. As a customer, I expect to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of my race or nationality.

I urge you to address this issue immediately and ensure that all of your employees are trained to treat all customers with respect and courtesy. Discrimination and racial targeting should have no place in any establishment, especially one that caters to tourists from all over the world.

I hope that you take this complaint seriously and take the necessary steps to prevent such behavior from happening again in the future. I am writing this review now in the hopes that this issue will be brought to your attention and addressed...

Don’t order the wraps!

Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews before I went here - can’t speak for the rest of the menu but absolutely can’t recommend the wraps and have to agree with another review below.

The wraps are not what they are advertised - I also ordered the mexican wrap which is supposed to have “fresh chicken breast fillet chops” — the chicken breast on there was one thin slice, like you would put on toast.

It was also supposed to have avocado AND guacamole - it only had guacamole on it (which was a store-bought sauce and not freshly mashed avocados). Once I opened my wrap and asked the waiter about the avocado, he said they must have run out of it. Maybe tell that the customer before they order/discover that themselves? They did reduce the price of the wrap by 0,90€ for the missing avocado.

The wrap is also cold, not toasted, same goes for all the ingredients (chicken breast). It’s also barely filled, there is more wrap than ingredients.

The “mixed green salad” which the wrap is supposed to be served with is really just two leaves of lettuce, like the other reviewer said. One leaf also was already withered/dry.

It didn’t taste bad, just absolutely not what is advertised...
