Unfortunately, choosing this place to celebrate my birthday turned out to be a big mistake. My partner and I travel a lot, and this is the first time we’ve left a restaurant feeling so disappointed. That’s why this review ended up being so detailed.

Two years ago, we had a great experience here, which made this visit all the more disheartening. The first red flag appeared right at the entrance. A hostess asked if we had a reservation — we didn’t — and told us to wait. Then we were left standing for several minutes, while she walked past us repeatedly without a word or update. Eventually, another waiter came over and asked us the exact same questions, clearly unaware we’d already spoken to someone. Fortunately, he found us a table right away,.

Then began the real waiting game: 10–15 minutes before anyone brought us menus, and only after we had to awkwardly call someone over. Another 15 minutes passed before our order was finally taken — again, only after we asked for attention. At that point, we honestly wanted to leave, but it was already late and we were too tired to search for another place.

The food, unfortunately, didn’t redeem the experience. The shrimp and avocado salad for €20 looked more like a few slices of unripe avocado and four sad little shrimp. The shrimp pasta? Same four shrimp. The fish was decent — nothing more — and easily comparable to what you’d find at any casual taverna in Greece for half the price.

When we politely mentioned at the end that the service had been poor, no one seemed to care. Clearly, the restaurant relies on its name and the stream of positive reviews, and two disappointed tourists make no difference to them.

I do not recommend this place. If you value good service, decent food, and being treated like a human being —...

During our visit in June 2023, we had the opportunity to dine at a restaurant where we ordered slow-cooked octopus, scampi pasta, and salmon ravioli. Let's start with the positive aspects, which mainly revolve around the service. The staff was attentive, serving us promptly and consistently checking if everything was to our liking. However, when it comes to the food itself, there were some disappointments.

The slow-cooked octopus stood out as a delicious dish, offering a satisfying taste. Unfortunately, that was the only standout item. The scampi pasta failed to deliver on flavor, as it seemed as though the scampi was cooked separately from the sauce, resulting in a lack of integration between the two components. Similarly, the salmon ravioli didn't meet our expectations.

Moreover, we were seated outside during our visit, but our experience was hindered by the presence of mosquitoes. This made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal and surroundings. Additionally, the restaurant seemed to be overpriced compared to other establishments in the neighborhood, which further diminished our overall satisfaction.

In summary, while the service was commendable, the food fell short of expectations, with the exception of the tasty octopus. The scampi pasta and salmon ravioli lacked flavor and integration, while the outdoor seating experience was marred by mosquitoes. Considering the relatively high prices compared to neighboring restaurants, the overall experience was...

Thanos showcased an unparalleled display of Greek hospitality, transcending the language barrier effortlessly. Our evening commenced with an exquisite offering: the spicy tuna tartare. Its flawless presentation and remarkable flavors left an indelible impression. Accompanying this culinary delight were the zucchini chips, a refined rendition reminiscent of your esteemed grandmother's recipe, brimming with the same familiar essence.

The pinnacle of our gastronomic journey arrived with the sea bass entree, a marvel of culinary craftsmanship. Cooked to absolute perfection, it effortlessly outshone any dish encountered across esteemed establishments from New York to Paris to Hong Kong. Each succulent bite unfolded a symphony of flavors, transporting our palates to new heights of satisfaction.

For the denouement, we indulged in the homemade Greek lemon pie, a creation that triggered nostalgic memories of savoring limoncello-infused lemon squares during our formative years. This delicate and impeccably crafted dessert evoked a sense of sentimentality, while simultaneously showcasing the chef's mastery of their craft.

Combining these extraordinary elements, our dining experience at this establishment warrants nothing less than a well-deserved 5-star rating, particularly for its unparalleled...

I spent a few days alone in Corfu Old City in a small flat. My host recommended Psaraki to me because I like to eat fish. And what can I say, I can really only recommend the restaurant. If you like fish and seafood, this is the place for you. The menu is promising and you have a good choice of options. I went there twice during my stay in Corfu Old City. The price-performance ratio is very balanced, especially compared to many other restaurants in the city, which were much more expensive. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. I was there alone and felt well advised and looked after. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and the staff exude calm and professionalism. I would be happy to come back at any time and can highly recommend a visit there.
