Ora Day — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Reservation: We didn't get nice view table as was committed over the phone by Hostess. She was actually very rude and unprofessional when we asked for the table with a proper view. After making us totally upset, when we were about to leave, the manager found for us nice table finally.

View in this restaurant is important, because food is not as good Starters: we tried 4 out 5 in the menu, only scallops were ok, the rest was desastre, dried octopus and calamari, horrible grilled avocado ws prawns. They charged 20€ for the bread for 4 pax and served for 1 person only . Good we noticed, so they fixed it.

Very few choice of main course

We asked for lobster, but was out of stock Kids had pasta ws burrata, they didn't complain

They offered grilled prawns, and literally saved our dinner of being desastre. They were good. Don't ever ask local vegetable leaves cooked as side, they are not nice. Edamame ws broccoli and zucchini grilled were good.

White vine was served warm.

So definitely do not recommend this place to the foodies and people with expectations for good service ⛔️ Only if you want burger and nice views, hopefully if they accommodate your booking as per request. Total bill for 2 adults and 2 kids around 250€...

Booked in advance for a birthday celebration. Specifically asked for a nice view table as this was why we chose this restaurant to celebrate

Really rude and abrupt blonde front of house didn't bother to contact us if there was an issue. Turned up 10 mins early to be respectful to the restaurant. No respectful returned. Rude woman told us the good tables were all booked. Asked several times (as there were several good tables empty through the our whole meal) Our reservation was for 1.5 hours. Really horrible service and no interest in customers. The staff took away plates before we could put our cutlery down. Just rude. Meal was slightly recovered as they had a wine I find hard to get. We had to ask the waiter to slow the pace as it was so rushed. They overcooked what should have been rare chateaubriand. Loads of bugs all over the tables. Neon white lights to attract more.

Would not recommend it as the quality and service is far better in other restaurants and half the price You are paying double for the view which they don't seem to want to provide anyway. Really disappointing way to spend...

I recently dined at Ora Restaurant, a high-end establishment boasting breathtaking views and exceptional service. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.

The setting is undeniably beautiful, with panoramic vistas that could easily distract you from the meal itself. The staff is attentive and courteous. However, the food leaves much to be desired. The dishes although quite tasty, were disappointingly small in portion. For a restaurant that positions itself as a gourmet destination, the quality of the ingredients and the execution of the dishes were far from what one would expect. To add to the disappointment, the prices are exorbitant. One would hope that such a steep cost would be justified by an extraordinary culinary experience, but this was not the case. Instead, it felt like paying for the view rather than the meal. If you're only interested in the scenery, it might be worth a visit, but if you're after quality cuisine, you're better off...
