Not ideal, but location and ambiance is what they have going for them. From the moment the server Andy approached us, he had a terrible ego-driven attitude which put us all off. Very difficult to get him to spend time and describe the menu items, as he was short and uninterested in his duties as a server. Timing of delivering octopus with tsipuro my dad ordered was about 15 minutes apart which is not ideal. They should be eaten and drank together.
I asked him if the quinoa could be separated and served on the side in a particular meal for my parents and he said “obviously”. Then a few minutes later asked me again in a different way, and seemed confused so I tried again to explain, he still looking confused and in a non-offensive way, I asked if he knew what I was meaning when I said quinoa (as there’s many different ways to pronounce it) and his reply “excuse me sir but I’m the one who works here, you think I don’t know what quinoa is?”
Just shocking attitude for a place that the average per person Check average for us was $40usd.

Read moreVery well maintained place, gives you the luxurious feeling all around. We stayed nearly 3 weeks ate our breakfast here every morning and lunch on several occasions. We never managed to finish the all delicious food, so, great portions. My in laws who are from Corfu enjoyed the food as well (they are generally picky). We ordered coffee most of the afternoons and was always same great taste. We struggled to find sunbeds as they get reserved very quickly due to the beach being very busy. Some reviews mention loud music, but we felt this is how beach music should be. It was loud enough for us to be able to have a conversation and also enjoy the music, the sea and the sun. We visited there so often that the owner offered us a free treat on our last day, we felt appreciated...
Read moreWe spent two hours or so here and paid for some beds. Nice location and wasn't too busy when we turned up. This soon changed later and the car park was filling up well. But it's free so can't complain.
We took a freddo cappuccino and some juices and it seemed pretty expensive. But the service was good. Albeit we did watch one of the staff wipe his forehead before using the same wipe to clean a table.
The beach is probably, but there are plenty of walkways to the beach. The beach is mostly beds tbh, and there is a little strip of beachline. Not that different to most beaches on Corfu.
Getting in and out of the sea was easy enough, with a small dip in from the pebbly shore. I'd recommend beach shoes...
