The waitress- rude, loud, unprofessional cant take criticism has bad temper issues. My friend asked could souvlaki come with fries. Because in picture showed,it was with Rice. The waitress said -LOOK!showed finger to the same picture and rolled her eyes at her. Then i asked two orange juices. She was again” making faces “ Wait foor food was not long. The calamari showed in a menu as in rings, -FRIED. When my friend received it, it wasn’t rings. My Friend said nothing and we waited for mains and nightmare began. My souvlaki was with old chicken it stank so bad I couldn’t even sit near it. The meat was bad. There were 4 of us and 2 of us had the stinky chicken. So it makes me think they don’t throw old products away they still use it. I couldn’t eat it, the waiter saw us talking about calmari and she asked whats wrong and my friend kindly explained she only eats calamari rings, she thought she will get them since it was marked like that in the menu picture, waiter got offended staight away, she took the calmari and raised her voice saying -but its fresh, but its fresh. We didn’t said anything about calmari being not fresh, my friend even told her ahe will pay for it and don’t worry. Then the waiter just started talking in her language to other waiter, which is so “professional“ especially when u cant understand it....
Read moreI honestly didn’t like the food there, I told the staff to make my food only with pepper and salt and they didn’t, they added all sorts of herbs, there was a greek girl working there and she had no patience, she wasn’t sure what was in the food and when I told her to ask the kitchen she didn’t. She was also very intrusive, she was very tall as well so I think / hope you know who I’m talking about now. The food was terrible, we went with 7 people and it was just horrible, no one ate anything. They knew I was allergic and they still put rice on my plate which had things in it that I was allergic to, so overall the only good thing there is the drinks and the vibe, please don’t go here! Go to Chersonissos and get a restaurant there I guarantee it will be 100% better. This is our opinion ( 7 people ) and people from...

Atmosphere was very Cretan which is what we were looking for. As it happened the cocktails were pretty good too. The dancing was great to watch, part way through they encouraged the guests to get up and join them. Might sound strange, but it was really good fun (and I'd only had one cocktail at that point!) They smashed plates too during the dancing; the children in the restaurant were encouraged to join in which they appeared to love. If you are in Hersinnissos on a Saturday night I'd recommend a...
